Fern Bay Black is one of the most challenging tracks in Live for Speed and is the longest S1 track. On Friday July 31st 2009 NDR presents the NDR FOX Jamaica 130. The race will be held on Fern Bay Black (FE4).
The event schedule is like this:
17:55UTC arrival deadline
18:00UTC start of qualifying group 1 (7 minutes)
18:10UTC start of qualifying group 2 (7 minutes)
18:20UTC start of the fast six superpole* (1 lap)
18:30UTC start of the race 20 +1 laps
The qualifying system is based on the LFSCART qualifying system but with the Fast-Six-Superpole it is something new for a NDR event. The drivers will be devided into two equal groups and each group will have a 7 minute qualifying. The top 3 drivers out of both groups will have their shot at the pole positon in the Fast-Six-Superpole. The rest of the grid will be sorted after their qualifying times.
The race's scheduled distance is 20 laps after a rolling start (total: 21 laps). During the race at least one pit stop is required, which can be done between race lap 6 (total: lap 7) and lap 15 (total: lap 16). Also the competitors are required to change the compound. Every driver must drive at least 2 green flag laps on R1 tires. R3 tires are generelly prohibited. NDR LFSCART Safety Car rules apply to this Event.
