On November 4th NDR and LFSCART will do the Martinsville 100 night, with 4 short track oval races on a Martinsville layout. The four races are scheduled for 40 laps. The first green flag will wave at about 2100UTC. The Formula V8 is the car of the evening but with an extra load of 90kg. There is no qualifying session, so the first race's grid will be set by the connection's list. To sign up, get onto http://www.lfsforum.net/showthread.php?t=62783 to post your interest.
The Martinsville layout is about 0.625 mi long and a lap takes 22-23 seconds. There are no artificial outside retaining walls. This may seem quiet unrealistic, but it was decided to do so to prevent as good as possible race cars from flying over the car park due to a crash with a autocross barrier. The pitlane is provisional and are a place to reset if requested. It shall be a layout in the spirit of Martinsville, but is no replique of the oval. You can download it under http://www.lfsforum.net/attachment.php?attachmentid=90658&d=1250541950
Le'ts get ready to race and let the sign ups start.
