We could not have asked for a more intense finale. D.Cury won the race followed by E.Surdi and A.Bertoni in the podium. But the drama happened behind them. F.Solis, the leader in points, started on the front row and C.Persico,his closest competitor started last. Persico had an awesome race coming from behind to finish fifth. Solis on the other did not have a good race and finished sixth. With this result the point standings are too close to call and we'll have to wait until all the bonuses and penalties are assessed to determine who is the 2011 NAS.CART Champion.
