With qualifying featuring the best 32 teams who made it through pre-qualifying, topping the sessions was always going to be challenge. The class split saw 13 GT1s take to the track, My3id Gaming's Tomek Nogiec going quickest 10 minutes into the qualifying hour with a 2:37.87. LowLandLions' best time came at same point, Mattias Wentjärvi unable to improve on his 2nd place time in the remainder of the session, which would be beaten by a couple of teams.
Some teams decided to do single lap runs, others concentrating on completing a stint in the allowed time. Bert Knops, guest driving for Sonicrealms Racing in their XRR, was one of them, and it paid off as he went 2nd near the end. But it was Reno Kööts for spdoRacing GT1 who made best use of his low fuel and worn tyres to take pole position, the margin just 0.05s, Nogiec unable to respond in the dying minutes.
My3id went one better in the GT2 class, Hugo Luis heading a strong 19 car field at the start of the session. Isaac Price and Synergy Racing Team ended their session after they went quickest halfway through, soon beaten by Luis, who kept improving his pole time to a 2:46.52. Genuine Racing moved closest to My3id late on, before Marius Golombeck of RAPTOR-GAMING closed the gap to 0.15s with his final lap. iNf!N!tY*SkillS also managed to claim 4th at the death.
