Welcome to the Genuine Racing Turbo Trophy!
OVERVIEW
Genuine Racing return to their roots by organising our first TBO series for a very long time, with 6 events spread over roughly 3 to 4 months, visiting a number of very diverse tracks, making sure that there will be plenty of action. The 6 events will be evenly split up between two formats: A 20 minute qualifying session followed by two 45 minute long races, or a 20 minute qualifying followed by a 90 minute long race which is worth double the amount of points. The top 3 overall finishers of each event will receive success ballast to stop any driver from winning the championship in no time at all.
And it's not just a championship that's there for the taking, as thanks to our sponsor 'Van Der Mark Transport Rotterdam', there will also be money prizes for the podium finishers in the driver's championship at the end of the season, namely 30€ for the winner, 20€ for second and 10€ for third. Should any of our members be eligible for one of the prizes, that prize will be donated to a charity.
The series will use the proven format of GT1 Challenge. Pre-Qualifying, to determine the 30 drivers for each event, will take place from Thursday to Saturday, while the main event itself, including qualifying and the race (or races), will take place on Sunday.
All LFS drivers and teams are welcome to race! Next to the driver's championship there will also be a team's championship with the two best-scoring drivers scoring points towards it in each event.
