A decent looking game, why not try to get it released!

I created this thread since our beloved steam platform has made some steps forward and created trading system, gifts, coupons etc. This is the place where you can share your things which you need to trade or give to someone.

Let me start...

Anyone wants -75% off Portal 2 coupon? It just randomly popped in my steam inventory and since I already own Portal 2 there is no need for me. I'll give it for free... PM me if somebody's interested.

Yes you read that right.

I've decided to give away a few copies of CLOD to promote this game a bit and one of those keys will be given away here.
It's inspired by and loosely based on the Live For Speed tradition of giving away licenses.

There are only a few simple rules to qualify:
1. You must not own Cliffs of Dover yet.
2. You must be registered on this forum since December 2011 or earlier.
3. Have a Steam account registered before today.
4. The selected winners must provide their steam ID privately when requested to verify their steam join date and that they dont already own a copy.
5. You should have a system that can run CLOD well, preferably a quadcore with a Nvidia 560Ti or better running on 64bit Win7.
6. Having previously posted in a flightsim thread on these forums will be a plus.

So if you'd like to participate make your submission in this forum thread providing:
1. Your systemspecs
2. Write a bit about why you want and deserve the key.

I will judge the submissions and decide who to award the key to.
Those who already own CLOD, remember to tell your friends or anyone you know here who's into flightsimming.
Close date for submissions is Friday 20th July 2012 at midnight (UTC time), and the key will be given out somewhere during Sunday 22nd July.

Our Steam forums were defaced on the evening of Sunday, November 6. We began investigating and found that the intrusion goes beyond the Steam forums.

We learned that intruders obtained access to a Steam database in addition to the forums. This database contained information including user names, hashed and salted passwords, game purchases, email addresses, billing addresses and encrypted credit card information. We do not have evidence that encrypted credit card numbers or personally identifying information were taken by the intruders, or that the protection on credit card numbers or passwords was cracked. We are still investigating.

We don’t have evidence of credit card misuse at this time. Nonetheless you should watch your credit card activity and statements closely.

While we only know of a few forum accounts that have been compromised, all forum users will be required to change their passwords the next time they login. If you have used your Steam forum password on other accounts you should change those passwords as well.

We do not know of any compromised Steam accounts, so we are not planning to force a change of Steam account passwords (which are separate from forum passwords). However, it wouldn’t be a bad idea to change that as well, especially if it is the same as your Steam forum account password.

We will reopen the forums as soon as we can.

Hey guys, i see the thread about LFS being sold on Steam is getting a lot of attention. Because there are so many mixed opinions, maybe a poll would help?

It might help the dev's with a decision if they were to consider it.

Since I'm not sure if S3 will take even longer then duke 3d forever to come out, why not sell LFS on steam to gain some critical user base that LFS needs to revitalize the community and also penetrate the US market!? LFS is still THE BEST simulator I've EVER played. It's got the right mix of serious racing and messing around that I like.

I can join any server hop in most races at any point on, and there are live racing events that take place in the community.

I think adding it to steam would only increase and bolster it's sales since I'll bet the sales of the game have sagged dramatically since it's pretty old now.

I don't see any down sides to having this game avail on steam?

Thinking about forking out 10 euro for Race 07 + GTR evolution on Steam, 75% discount now. Not much money, but wanna hear some opinions first:

Is the multiplayer any good? Compared to LFS that is, is it easy to find a almost full server with somewhat decent people that don't crash in t1?

Never really liked Simbin simulation, but haven't played since GTR2, has it gotten any better? Still, it got some nice tracks, and hopefully decent graphics.

So i have $10 NZD (about $5 USD) left on a prezzy card and its gotta be used before the end of the month so im wondering if someone can recommend a cheap game on steam?
