Well, I suppose I'm not a big fan of Steam, however the games being sold on it as well as the friends list feature are what keeps me on it. I was wondering how many of you played.
I only own three games - CSS, TF2, and Gmod. However, I also have mods like Fortress Forever, Insurgency, and willing to try more (Such as NeoTokyo?)
Steam is buzzed down all the time, i cant login.
Most of the time i cant login, it says:
Could not connect to Steam network.
This could be due to a problem with your Internet connection, or with the
Steam network. Please visit www.steampowered.com for more info.
My internet is all fine. WTF? help? REALLY annoying
the stoke:
1.intake very few fuel (H2) & air
2.combustion, but not too much power provide because too less fuel
3.intake water
4.water changh to steam because of the high temp
5.the volume of steam go big, push the piston down
My games:
Counter strike source (i have double of Css, 2 acc's)
Day of defeat source
Garrys mod 10
Garrys mod 9
Half Life 2 (i have double of HL2, 2 acc's)
Half life 2 deadmatch
Half life 2 lost coast
Half life 2 episode 1
Half life 2 episode 2
Portal
Team fortress 2
Peggle extreme
And my favorite is DOD Source
I have always wondered about this, because I am seeing more and more games on steam that are not Valve developed or published, even some 1-man developed games/mods (Audiosurf, garrys mod)
Is Steam now a free market, would LFS be able to be sold on steam...if the LFS team felt it was a move forward?
This has confused me tbh, theres so many games I can think of that would benefit from being on there, I buy many games from it, its a great way to keep track of friends and its generally easier.
I'm always tempted to buy stuff from steam, I open to play CSS or TF2 or COD4, always look at the shop first....:P
The current available racing games on there dont compare to the in-depth physics of LFS.
Well over the past few months all the games I own on steam have ben getting more and more boring and I've decided that I'd like to sell my account, Electronically of course, You send the cash & I send the account details.
It currently has 17 games on it, and I'm looking for around $70-80, which I believe is around 32-36GBP.
Steam didnt start up, gave a weird error message. So I downloaded a new steam and it cant update... "Steam is temporarily unavailable, please try later". And this been going on for 2 hours. I'm in Europe.
I deleted my Steam folder today (on the first of every year I remove seldom used programs) it decided to take LFS with it. And it wasn't in the same literal folder, both were a subfolder from a main folder on my one drive.
Strangely, I started playing this game exactly two years ago. Time to start over. Thankfully I DID save my settings folder with the change to patch Y.
Yeah, I know. You do not have tell me what I probably already told myself.
Does anyone else happen to use steam+lfs together? If so do you get the problem where you can view messages and friends everything in game but cant type? If so anyone know anyway to fix this? Me and a few friends have it just wondering if it can be fixed.
I am trying to download games I've already bought (The Orange Box) through Steam onto my new PC. The downloader was going ridiculously slowly (5-10kb/s) and has now stopped downloading completely after 3% of Team Fortress 2.
My internet connection seems fine, raced in LFS earlier without any issues, leading me to suspect my previous issues were something to do with a dodgy adapter in my old PC. I ran a speed test and got 3910/380, which also seems fine. My ISP is BT, I don't know whether it could be traffic shaping (but from what I understand that should never completely stop a download?). I've also opened the relevant router ports and setup a static IP address, none of which worked and Windows Firewall is off. I doubt it's my ISP or router ports because my old PC downloaded fine off Steam.
Does anybody have any suggestions as to what I could try? Or alternatively if I copy the games from my old PC will Steam be able to recognize them and save the downloading?
I don't know how many people there are here from southern UK, but is anyone going to the Steam Fair this week? The weather's looking good, should be a good laugh
