Steam didnt start up, gave a weird error message. So I downloaded a new steam and it cant update... "Steam is temporarily unavailable, please try later". And this been going on for 2 hours. I'm in Europe.
damit, that's my first big problem with it. Now I uninstalled Steam and it took all the god damn games with it. Then i reinstalled steam and still no go. When I open it, it says "Updating" and after a while it says "Steam is unavailable... blah.blah...
Shut down steam, navigate to C:\Program Files\Steam, and delete "clientregistry.blob" (it is remade when you restart steam). This has fixed steam for me numerous times when it could not connect.
JESUS MOTHER OF CHRIST GOD DAMIT I FIGURED IT OUT THIS IS SO STUPID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I had NetLimiter (download speed manager program) set to limit Steam to 70 kb/s during my last download... but its been like a week like this. Guess Steam finally decided to not have any of it... Taking the limit off allowed steam to connect again... This is so-so dumb. Have to re-DL 20 GB worth of files at 100 kb/s now... :bananadea:bananadea:bananadea:bananadea:bananadea:bananadea:bananadea:bananadea:bananadea:bananadea:bananadea:bananadea:bananadea:bananadea:bananadea:bananadea:bananadea:bananadea:bananadea:bananadea:bananadea:bananadea:bananadea:bananadea:bananadea:bananadea:bananadea:bananadea:bananadea:bananadea:bananadea:bananadea:bananadea:bananadea:bananadea:bananadea:bananadea:bananadea:bananadea
