Thanks so much for inviting! That was a nice event. Sadly I had a terrible lag in the second last lap which sent me straight to nowhere in T1 and spoiled my race See you next time.
I have an idea how to satisfy your ego:
Take a screenshot of the credits and put it on your desktop background, mobilephone background, in a frame on hearthstone and don't forget the wallet in case you would meet someone who doesnt know that your name is in it.
It started to happend to me occasionally since X10. When someone leaves the pits and a new skin is downloaded a strong stutter appears for half a second. Enough to loose the control. Sometimes the skin is downloaded smoothly, sometimes I crash in full speed race.
As I read about the engine stall in actual discussion in another thread, I thought that this "Engine stall" feature could be included in Gai-Luron's LFSRelax too. The mod is here. If it could be possible, it would be great!
Yes, good observation. If anybody would like to know how he is doing, there is a great client site addon by Gai-Luron called LFSRelax. So there is no need for LFS Lapper(spammer)
Hi Scawen,
I've got a problem with clutch. I've got a h-shifter with 3 pedals which I use in ROAD cars and in the other I use sequential shifting with 2 pedals + button clutch on the wheel (only for starts).
The thing is that the button bindings and axis mapings for these two types of cars are made automaticly by "car scripts" (FXO.lfs, XRR.lfs etc.) but I am not able to figure out how to switch between axis clutch and button clutch by the script. Now I have assigned clutch on both - button and axis and I have to switch between them manualy in the options menu.
There is a command for shiter type - /shifter [auto/sequential/shifter]
So it would be heplful to have similar for clutch type. Something like /clutch [button/axis]
Thanks
No, I've got the same problem No OutGauge apps works when insim is inicialized. Even when turn on OutGauge in Relax cfg. The problem is that Relax uses outgauge itself when its turned on. The best way would be to implement outgaugegateway or relay into Relax to make other outgauge apps work.
And is this whole thing only about points? I thought its about clean racing in full grid and maybe then about progress in your license to drive faster and more difficult cars.
Great stuff Gai-Luron, thanks a lot!! So when the pit spotter is back I'd love to have Becky Rose's lfs companion back too Especially the team radio saying how you perform, how are your split times, your gains and loses to your opponents, fuel warnings etc. A lot of racers who likes to drive in shift+f mode would be very delighted. I had to ask you for this, i cant help myself
Hi,
I've got a problem assigning ingnition (which is a reserved key) to a controler button.
my autoexec.lfs has these lines
/button 1 ctrl_f5
ctrlf 5 /press i
When I press button 1 nothing happeds and lfs does not report any invalid line in autexec on start up. When I assign numbers (9 - hazard lights on, 0 - hazards off) or invadllid key like "k" (ctrlf 5 /press k) everything works fine, hazards switches on, off and lfs reports pressing invalid key by a beep.
Where's the problem? The same is pitspeed limiter but there's no need assigning it because it has its own command.
Thanks for advice
Check this hotlap: lap 1, time: 1:05.00, T6. I think this tyre barrier bypassing in the chickane should cause HLVC-invalid hotlap but it doesn't. I tried that many times after that and it seems not to be a contingent.
I do agree with you. NO reset and _repair_ please! Just leave the default setting as it is and add an extra option for hardcore races to disallow reseting car.
This mod does not work for me. My problem is that MOMOLeds bypasses my cycling commands binds in Logitech Profiler in version 4.40 and in version 4.60 the MOMOLeds bypasses my paddle axes :-/
However the MOMOLeds itself works well.
-Win XP SP2
-MOMO Racing
-MOMOLeds 1.1
-changes in cfg.txt
OutGauge Mode 1 OutGauge Delay 1 OutGauge IP 127.0.0.1 OutGauge Port 56551
EDIT: It stared to work well, somehow... I haven't done any changes to anything :-)
