Haha today i got a reply to an e-mail I sent over a month ago...
Guess that means he's still doing buisness.
Unfortunately the e-mail only contained the same information as the first one: Additional products next month.
So... still waiting.
Edit: This was part of his answer: "Next month we will have two new additional products: Rinoframe and
Rinocockpit and we will continue with the sale Rinoseats."
Yes, I got a reply on one of my multiple e-mails. I wrote that I wanted to order a seat, but didn't get any information on that...
Instead I got the anouncement that there will be two new additional products from rinoseats.com in may.
So I think the producer is busy developing those things (called rinoframe and rinocockpit) that he doesn't take any orders at present.
I hope it'll be possible to order again in may. So let's just wait and see what happens. I guess we'll hear from renato soon.
Yes, I think they just gave up. They gave up announcing things that aren't 100% ready, yet, because doing otherwise results in threads full of spam and moaning and accusations against them.
I'm pretty sure that the devs try to develop a software that they are happy with as good and fast as possible and threads like this are just a constant distraction and irritation.
Just be a little more patient. I think it won't change your life significantly if the patch comes out a month sooner or later (or even half a year).
Nice point of view, BUT you forgot that any other developer would have called it S2 a looooong time ago. It's only the high standards of the devs that keep lfs from reaching S2-status. Or do you experience many bugs and crashes? I don't think so.
I'd also like it better if lfs would be updated in a more regular fashion, but I'd also like to win a few million dollars..... So... just relax, play any game that suits you and be happy if something gets released that suits your wishes....
What bothers me most about not being able to get an answer from the constructor of the rinoseat is that there is also absolutely no info on the official homepage. It just annoys me so much that I don't know whether there will be an answer ever.
Perhaps he shut down his buisness, but why doesn't he then take down his homepage as well?
Ahh... so many questions and no answers in sight... :irked:
Nah.. the obutto is much to big for my requirements... I'd hoped that there's someone who knows the manufacturer (renato) personally or got contact with him on a regular basis.
So for now my only option is to wait and hope that I'll get some information soon...
(Wanna sell your seat? )
I'm seriously considering to get me one of those rinoseats, but I've got a little problem: I've tried to contact the producer of the seats via three different e-mail adresses, but I don't get an answer. It seems like other ppl in another forum experience the same problem.
Does anyone of you know what's up with the buisness? Did anyone of you have contact to the manufacturer recently? It would be a shame if the seat wasn't available any more...
I'd appreciate any information about this.
For me it sounds like the videocard is getting too hot. Try playing with an open pc case and if that helps, clean your graphicscard and watch the temperatures.
Although I didn't test very much I'd like to say something:
PLEASE fix the weight penalties to on- AND offline mode!
I'm kind of a noob when it comes to setups and it's very annoying that you can't just take a hotlap set and alter it to right tyre-wear. In patch X10 you have to work on the whole suspension and things, what drives me crazy.
The even more powerful argument is, that you can't look at hotlap times of the cars to compare their performance in the race. So IMO the hotlaps become some kind of a addon for the nutters who just like hotlapping, but become totally useless for the usual race-driver.
Hi there!
I got a new pc including a new videocard (8800 GTS), but now my lfs doesn't look good any more.
I got the latest drivers (163.71) and everything maxed up in the driver settings, but despite these actions I get white lines across the tarmac in lfs and the safety fences look like shit. (pretty jagged in the distance) I already read through this thread and the other one from Jakq, but I weren't able to find a solution. Anyone who's got the same problem solved? I attached two screenies for better understanding.
Hi guys!
I just wanted to make a suggestion: How about implementing server favourites in LFS-World, so you don't always have to scroll through the whole list, when in search of a particular server. I thought it would have been suggested already, but I couldn't find a thread about it.
Perhaps implement it as another tab in the "Racers and Hosts online" section. So you could add your preferred hosts there and you'd see immediately what's going on on your favourite servers.
It's the same for me. Before V2 I didn't ever notice the stutter when someone left the pits but since then I'm expieriencing a considerable lag (stutter) nearly every time someone leaves the pits.
I think the GTRs sound MUCH better now. I like the sound of the FXR very much and XRR is good, too, but the FZR still lacks a certain nastyness (The FXR got the kind of roaring i want to hear! So it's not a constant tone, but more like the same tone played very fast repeatedly). The sound lfs plays now when you hit the curbs needs to be a little louder (hearable). That'll ad a big deal to the atmosphere...
Oh.. I thought it should sound like you're sitting in the car with a helmet on...
If that's not the case (like you stated) then the "muffling" is even worse. It sounds like you've got huge amounts of wax in your ears... :tired:
