Quote from sil3ntwar :Totally disagree with you there. Nuckin Futz has nothing to do with the internet. You probably wouldnt last long in Australia or New Zealand if your going to be offended by Nucking Futs.

When i saw the thread title i figured it would be some wild and crazy layout. I havent tried the layout but im sure thats just what it is.

That's exactly right.
Nucking Futz has been around for ages.
GazForce is also right in saying that it's in the layouts forum so it's OBVIOUSLY a layout.
I immediatly assumed he had named the layout 'Nucking Futz' because it's a crazy fun layout.
I don't understand how people can just completely not comprehend what is so simple in this matter.

oh well.

Quote from pwrguido :My sound is unsynchronized, what I do?

I change the cfg to

OutGauge Mode 2 ?@
OutGauge Delay 1
OutGauge IP 127.0.0.1 ?@
OutGauge Port 55?@?@ ?@
OutGauge ID 0

how the read-me file says but it stay worse :weeping:

I had the same problem. I fixed it by changing the priority values in task manager (windows XP)

Quote from alco64 :hoooorah!!! i fixed the sound lag problem. Turns out my CPU isn't powerful enough to run LFS and this program at the same time *oh the shaaame @ AMD Athlon 2800+ Barton (2.088Ghz)*

although i fix this problem but putting ESM_003.exe on 'above normal' priority and putting LFS.exe on 'below normal' priority. and it works GREAT. ahh i'm so happy it's all working now and sounds bloody awesome

never had a problem at all before this sampling program was made.?

I can run heaps of other LFS mods and it works fine. although this sampling program doesn't work on sync unless i change the priority modes on the exe *shrugs*
It's the only way i've got it to work.

great prog. worked great with bf1 but after chage to xrt or fzr they run very late compared to lfs own synth.
delayed like a sec or so.
weird.
but thanks anyway!

that's what i get straight off the bat Kid off sync. it occasionally wanders back in sync with the revs but that's only accasionally and mainly from about 5th to 7th gear in the BF1. and i can't fix it.. soo annoying as this mod would be so good

well my guess (big guess) is that he has head movement mapped to the mouse axis. so that when he turns the wheel right, the view in game will turn right.. makes sense to me. is this right?
other wise WTF?

lol interesting replay.

The AI pitted under illegitimate circumstances.
Crashed into the pit wall, reversed, and was going so slow it registered it in the pitbox as stopped.
Although i was suprised that the AI car in the pit lane didn't keep trying to get onto the main circut. Maybe there is very VERY basic pitting code? maybe. Only Scawen knows

Quote from versis :hi there,

had a rather similar behaviour to what axus posted. when driving on a server, everytime i pressed v (change view) showed me the background of the setup screen without any controls. i heard the view changes (sound-wise), but the only way to bring the view back was shift-S and returning to track. interestingly, i also got the "gray background" when crashing a wall (without pressing any button) - got that behaviour twice. tried to join another server and had the that background screen instantly. the only thing that helped was restarting LFS. it's been the first time i had this experience =).

I too have got this bug. Annoying. It was just after i left my setup screen and into the pits. once i left pit lane it seemed it was fine again

my CPU is an AMD Athlon 2800+ Barton (2.088Ghz)
It's well fast enough to run LFS and a tiny sound sampling program.

Maybe it IS a problem with my sound card :S

well, I've been bored enough to edit another texture :P
This time i've changed the colour of the side grip on the wheel to a nice blue to replicate what BMW is really using in it's F106 season.

As you can see in this picture

The grips on the side are blue, so this is what i've added into LFS.

I've added a nice texture to the blue grip aswell which you can really see in game. Looks really nice and i hope you guys enjoy it

i've checked that outgauge is set to 1.
Changed the sound lag from 0.15 to 0.10 but still not change

I have an Audigy 2ZS Soundcard. but surely that would'nt be the problem?
No one else seems to be having the problem though

i've still got the really annoying problem of the F1 samples not being played at the right time..

for example: I'd tap the accell pedal full and about 1-2 seconds later the F1 sample will play.
and when driving and i gear change the sample will not play until 1-2 seconds later. sometimes more?

I've changed the outsim settings in the cfg and mucked around with other settings but nothing seems to help.. this is driving me mad.

nice work yamakawa.
But when i try and change the volume i get an error and the program closes:
Run-time error '76':
Path not found: 'd:\c\vol\12.bmp'

now i know what this means and i'm sure you do too so i'm sure you can fix it..

Another problem that's annoying is that the samples in game work fine but they are off time with my shifting and revs from LFS.
I don't know how to fix it?

Hey steve, great video. i also run dual monitors (2x17" CRTs) and really want to try this. But i sadly cannot as i have an ATI (x800XT-PE) card.
ATI don't actually share the monitors. the primary monitor takes all the usage and if i was to put anything 3d (in this case stretch LFS over) it gets REALLY chuggy (about 1.8 FPS)

I assume you're running an Nvidia card because they are light years ahead ATI with their dual monitor support.
