I really must keep off ebay...

Bought this Wednesday, a bit by accident. Picked it up from Warrington yesterday and it is a cracker. High mileage but only £3600 for a new shape 530d SE is darned good value.

(My missus doesn't see it that way)

Oh nice to see this out.

I wish I had some better pc bits to enjoy it at it's fullest, but I think this could be a cracker when multi-player is introduced.

The balance and weight transfer of the road cars under heavy braking is really very good but the ffb needs some tweaking...I'll get round to that soon.

Very good value compared to iracing for sure and I know Moose will have a smile on his face

A long, long time ago
I can still remember how that music used to make me smile
And, I knew if I had my chance that I could make those people dance, and...
Maybe they'd be happy for a while
But, February made me shiver with every paper I'd deliver
Bad news on the doorstep - I couldn't take one more step
I can't remember if I cried when I read about his widowed bride
Something touched me deep inside the day the music died

Regarding the welfare state in the UK my statement was when it became initiated in the early 1900, when people only lived a short lifespan for example, we never envisaged the future costs. We have run out of money a long time ago we are living, like most of the world on pretend money, based on peoples imaginary borrowing potential, leverage I think it's called.

I have a disabled son (Worstening Lennox Gastaut Syndrome) and we get good support generally from the NHS and use the welfare state, but my wife gets carers allowance. But why should my wife be getting carers allowance when her husband is fortunately earning sufficient and in reality that carers allowance money could be used elsewhere. Like to help mass immigrants who have paid nothing into our society, they are not stupid and know that the UK is a soft touch.

Lets face it UK is an easy touch for tricksters, thieves and just people that know how to work the system. For example mass immigrants that are free to come and use the services that we have been paying through the nose for. Don't get me wrong I know this country needs immigration and extra workers that pay tax. But why lets not check the credentials of the people coming over here.

What I want to know is why we are giving approximately 50m per day (if I recall correctly) to the European Union to support the requirements of an unelected federal government, yes kind of like the old USSR, and when you look at it probably illegal European Parliament. Jees look at Greece how happy are they now with the EU that they are not even allowed to make there own governance laws anymore.

Anyway that's my latest rant on my beliefs that the European Union is another layer of bureaucracy that we all bought into with false promises.

Quote from Truand2laBiffle :Hi Guys,

I'm Truand2laBiffle.

Awaiting for Assetto Corsa, I'm zoning on LFS Demo, but I'm really starting to wonder if I should not go s2...

This is pretty much my first contact with racing sim.

My best time on blackwood with the fb02, default blackwood setting, is 1:15:96, but It seems that I will need a LOT of training to go below 1:15:50.

Anyway, see you on demo serv!

Personally when I first tried lfs Demo S2 was a no brainer and immediate purchase. I couldn't believe that the racing online could be so much fun. Way better general pick up racing than simbin titles and a sim arguably way ahead of it's time.

I also heard a rumour that one day there may even be an S3, if you live long enough.

In answer to Kev's points, I'll keep it short because I can only discuss politics rationally after 6 pints of Tennants and a couple of good tokes.

1. Thanks for noting the error.

2. Farage maybe collecting pay but there are very few in the European dictatotship that are fighting for the right to lose their jobs.

Right wing and left wing? these terms should not exist in modern politics.

3. Do you not think UK could negotiate it's own deals with all countries around the world?

4. Why Britain is goosed is of course partly, arguably mostly, to do with your statement. But, lets face it we were on the guaranteed road to ruin as soon as the welfare state was initiated.

We are in for a huge hit when the interest rates rise and they will when 'people' actually realise the financial state of the UK and it doesn't become such a perceived safe investment bet internationally. The bad times of the 70's will seem like a boom in comparison.

But, I've said before my contingency is to move to Norway

Well I'm having fun in the L49. But, it's great when you jump back into the L79 after a session in the 49 ass you feel godlike driver in comparison, the L79 is basically far superior in my opinion.

The L49 is a beast to take out on Sunday drives only for me. With H-shifter with heel and toe It's the first car that I'm faster in than using no clutch on some of iRacings more crap transmission models. Still you don't need to clutch on up-shift which is a bit disappointing. Also the rear view mirrors...what's the point where they are positioned? Need smoke from the tyres also.

Had a couple of shots at Montreal in the Radical. The out of car sounds in the Radical are very much improved. Montreal will take some getting used to for me I think, but seems decent enough.

Not got around to playing around with the weather but have heard decent reports on very different lap times depending in the weather type. So this is a t least a start to dynamic weather.

Quote from DeadWolfBones :Ah, the classic move of telling strangers on the internet about how much sex you're having.

I lied about that part though, wishful thinking on my part is not against form rules yet I hope? After 23 Years together my best days are behind me and my weapon of choice is as much used as a marshmallow these days

Probably to much information but I seem to be on an 'act like a tube' swansong at the moment, unfortuantely.

Why moving to Norway? My place is small but if you are shit out of luck and no place to stay you could allwaya take the sofa ^^

That is a very kind offer, how far is Larvic from Stavanger? Still got some friends living over there and I stayed their (well Tasta and Tananger) for a couple of years and my daughter who is now 18 used to be quite fluent in Norwegian after we sent her to barnehagge. We had no clue what she was on about but she managed fine with the other Norwegian children.

I remember getting horrible hangovers from Tau beer. But the baked potatoe vans at the end of a night out were great!

I genuinely miss Norway. You guys have a fantastic standard of life and the countryside and scenery are immense.

And No way I'm sending my 18 year daughter to crash on your sofa.

And also Tristan, for a non specialised Engineer, has a wise head on his shoulders from watching his various technical orientated threads.

Basically he's termed a smart ass, in the best possible taste of course. Although the bugger made (suggested and rightly so) fork out a few quid for a decent HANS device, that was never worn at first....but will certainly be now after my recent 3 barrel roll site seeing excurtion

Are you still doing F3 this year Tristan?

The quicker we as a human population get our heads out our arses and get of this pathetic 'green' pc bandwagon the better. Are our heads really that full of mush?

Personally I would use nuclear fuel for cars and most everything else. pig sick of seeing those ridiculous wind farms all over the place...rant rant.
On topic, the car actually looks quite nice but the power to weight ratio? oh come on what is the point?

I would imagine they have different people working on art and physics so they can progress together. Unfortunately digital art is easier than correct digital physics it seems.

However, there are many ardent sim racers involved in development, so hopefully they can get somewhere.

Having raced a season myself I can honestly say that real racers have no clue how to develop sim physics so in my opinion these 'big named' drivers testing are lol, unless Mr. Collins has driven thousands of hours on sims of course.

Anyway as with every other sim in development I hope this turns out good. I've not driven it for a few months myself but last time I tried it was definitely not going to keep my attention for very long unfortunately. I'll wait until closer to release then try it out again.
