Currently hotlaping in ovals (doing bad) attempting to beat UFR's WR. Just wondering, if driver's position (left/right incar) takes effect to the suspension? I'm asking, because if it does, so I should start with a position of the weight incar. While driving Kyoto's Oval R, driver's position should be right, to set weight inside the corner. Am I correct?

In 800x600 it looks like it's blured, so no sharp edges are seen.. And in 1280x800 objects are sharper. When you look into monitor at 2meters distance, in high res it looks wonderfool, but not at 50 - 70 cm..

I received my answer after two posts.. Though so too, that high FPS is more important than good graphics..

I have a laptop, so it can't handle LFS in very high resolution, or AA AF enabled.. So I'd like to ask your opinion, in what resolution I should launch it:

I have few options

option 1. 1280 x 800 without AA or AF and ~ 80-100 FPS
option 2. 1280 x 800 with 2x AA and 2x AF ~ 50-60 FPS
option 3. 1024 x 768 with 2x AA and 2x AF ~ 60-70 FPS
option 4. 800 x 600 with 4x AA and 4x AF ~ 50-60 FPS

any other option? I'm asking your opinion, because I heard, that human eye can spot 20-30 frames / second. Sorry for english

I have experianced it also, average I loose about 2-3 second in manual gearbox.. It's strange that it only happens in S.S. stages.

Just saying, that there are more important things to do on LFS, than to have podium after the race.. I mean.. We're waiting for a car about a year now, and you guys still have hope, that devs will make something not important at all for ya? Come on..

LFS is about driving experience, not about shampagne ceremonies.

That's the reason, why I created this thread, that game had no bad aspects ten years ago.. admit it As I said in the first topic, I have installed it, and now I have all gold medals in the throphie cabinnet. I've spent about 8-9 hours playing it, and I don't regret any minute. Good work Codemasters, bad luck on DIRT series tho... well graphics requires NASA PC tu run.. Oh wel, not everyone can afford one. I've tested DIRT 1, and DIRT 2, but just graphics increasses it's overall rating. Anyway.. DIRTs are one of the best games arcade's point of view. (so sorry about english)

OK, before you start (maybe) the flame war, I would like to say few things about it. I had this game on PSX (loved it), and now I found a PC version in my closed, I installed it, and I was shocked actually how GOOD it realy was
(is)... The physics is WAY better than other "SIM" (such as "race driver, GM rally? (my opinion)). Let's face it, it was released 10 years ago or so, and other simlike racing games can't compare against it even after 10 years. I'd like to hear your opinion (NOT ABOUT MY ENGLISH), and if anyone is still playing this game?
