Once you said that, if I remember correctly that my F510 (old controller) worked ok, but XBOX doesn't. Just wondering, if it's just me.

I know Live for Speed is an online racing simulator, but has DEVS ever wondered about creating 20-XX hour lenght Carrer mode? Don't think it will take a long time to code it, but would be lots of fun. Offcourse not like "training" sessions that we have currently, where you can't even touch your opponent, but real racing with AI. AI is now improved, so they can be raced, and they are challenging.

(a bit off-topic) I love Gran Turismo, and it has great ideas, like licences in order to race an particular event and/or car.

Carrer may start with UF1000, and finish with open wheelers. During Carrer you would race almost every car.. Don't know if there's much more to tell, there may be tons of ideas to expand Carrer mode, would raice LFS's respect a bit more.

glad about new version of LFS, but I do have some questions:

1) if there are any users besides me using swingman view, what are the settings of the view? Currently I'm using rumblepad (logitech) If I fix forward axis (yes) - it's like stoned, if I use other setting (no) - it feels too loose.. I'd like the view to be like in Gran Turismo. Any suggestions?
2) how do you know, when using swingman - when it starts to understeer?
3) regarding new update and development report - I saw the new Westhill, witch look lije improved a lot, and in one of the screenshots I saw that there is some dirt road, how do you think - there will be some rally cross track in Westhill?

As far as I know this game is not as popular like in previous days. Reason? You should search for information in forum, before asking, mainly it's popularity decreases because of slow development.

Graphics are completely fine. Imo, they are excellent ! They don't require a super duper powerful graphics card to run the game smoothly. In the end, it's a racing sim and I don't think that any graphic tweaks should be done at all !

Hmm.. If you say that graphics are fine, you might be out of your mind, pal. First of all, I didn't said, that graphics ar BAD, I've just said, that it needs an improvement (some sort), I think you didin't play iRacing and/or Simraceway, so you can;t compare it?

About a physics - well said. Actually there is a big question about physics. In one point of view it is well mage, in other hand physics can also be combined with damage model, so in m view physics has it's own pluses and minuses

I would like to hear your oppinions about live for speed, it's main advantages and dissadvantages? I'd like to share my opinions, your feedback is welcome.

Advantages of Life for Speed:
1) cheap to buy, to own a licence
2) friendly community
3) quality fictional cars characteristics
4) well made multiplayer system
5) physics score ((my opinion 75%) I know it is still in develompment)
6) open track configurations, allowes to place objects on the track
7) leagues
8) quick loading of the race

Dissadvantages of Live for Speed compared to other popular sims, such ass Simraceway, iRacing, rFactor, F1 2012 (ok, this one not really a sim)

1) slow development
2) graphics engine
3) physics of the car
4) lack of cars
5) lack of tracks
6) sence of speed (might be added to number 3 (pyscis of the car)

Can't really think of more dissadvanteges of live for speed, that means it should be my choise (and it is), bus also I'm quite interesting of playing SRW and iR.

Please tell your oppinions.

Now I play Simraceway, quite nice project, with lots of cars and tracks (I believe few of them are fictional), good multiplayer system.

No if you talk about milage and burnt fuel.

just downloaded music pack for lfs inf lfs.net, and I've just found one similar music.

About 5 years ago, I played Racing simulator 3 (it's an F-1 game) and there was music just like LFS's "power off". Correct me if I'm wrong (probably I am), but AFAIK all music in LFS was created by Victor. Does that mean, that Victor has something to do with "Racing simulator 3"?

just like to ask what setting do I have to make, to create new host (how many max guests, AI etc)

If I make too many slots it says, that max upload exceded or something.

I want it to be for at least 10 cars, me (as a server, to drive mysefl) and to add two AI. There are other setting too, could anyone explain it to me?

Hello, some information needed. I own this rumblepad, and it's good. But is there a possibility, that LFS doesn't support it's force feedback? I have no vibration, no force and so on. And also, I would like to assign (RT button) for downshift, but had no success, because it's an axis. HELP
