just a small update from this rig, changed the 80GB IDE hard drive for a 500GB SATA hard drive, speed difference is impressive, over 3 times quicker!

1) use Shift+f all the time
2) record at half speed and then doubble the frame rate, it will make the video smoother
3)use some cameras that aren't static, they dont all have to move, just adds to the variety.
4) I think that the car is too far away in these shots, try making them colser ot the action (or have cameras that follow the car)

i think its your gear shifting, your not letting off the gas and you do it slowly, try lifting off the throttle to change gear instead of using clutch,
