I thought the same on page 5. At the first it looked like FOX's new dashboard. Even on day 4 there seems to be an updated car (rear wing) and on day one the FO8 has smaller arms like the current one.
has someone noticed 3 little things on that diary?
#1 @ Day1:
Has someone noticed the difference on the arms? They are much thinner than the original ones.
#2 @ Day3:
Has someone noticed, that the picture with da dashboard has been changed since the day of release? At the beginning it was blue like the FOX one's (or do I see ghosts..?) Maybe I'm wrong here.. BUT
#3 @ Day4:
Look at the right car. Has someone noticed that the rear wing isn't from the current version? There is no single car, that has got the rear wing so high.
Maybe we're awaiting "just" a graphical update, and the F1-Car is just an modeling update for the FO8?
Oh my f**** goodness! The best thing on the screen is, that it is rendered.
AND look at the arms (Querlenker). They are much thinner than the current FO8 one's (like in the first screenshot). Maybe thats the "...and maybe a surprise.." Scaven talked about when announcing the patch?
Well.. the backup was 10 minute old So it had worked with it for sure.. As I said, I had damaged the files with the LFS Viewer one's because I didn't look close and so it happened..
Even if I'd have to unlock it again it wouldn't be that problem, cause I've got a press-licence.. but I don't want to disturb Victor again..
I've got a little question about the file where the fonts are stored. Some days ago I wanted to restore a backup of my old S2 files because I had re-installed the application..
But since there I there occur errors while starting the game. So one error tells me, that there is a font missing, that can display the German umlauts (äöüß) and in the menu / ingamechat there is an ugly [] instead of the umlauts..
But because I don't want to loose my settings (and also my licence.. haven't any mroe unlocks) I just want to restore the corrupt file (had overwritten it accidentially with the LFS Viewer files..)..
Well.. I'm admin in chief on GAMER-network.com (one of the biggest gaming editorial offices in Austria) and so I (of course) did a review on LFS S2 Alpha and a small Interview with Victor van Vlaardingen some Months ago. Maybe you are interested into reading that stuff (but it is in german..)
