My AC97 recently started to distort when turning up volume more than 1/3,
so I replaced it with SB live.

-didnt know that the onboard soundcard could cause lower pc performance.

XF GTR is a bitch on Westhill

- I forgot all about the time on the practice server,
so I missed 4 min of the qualifi.
- And I wrecked my car in th sprint.
- Buuuuuut whee heee.... In the main race I started last and ended
in 4th place.

(mostly because drivers in front of me suddenly decided to cut some grass,
and checking out how hard the barriers REALLY were) :hyper:

I've been practicing KY GP the last 3 days for the Endurance League, but today
I'll be on Westhill for sure. See u for some practice soon.

One more technical thing. Do you have motherboard drivers installed? I forgot to do that when i freshened up my windows and because that limits communication between CPU and Graphics card and such it resulted in the same problem you are having. I also have a AMD 2600+, but I basicly have NO graphic card.

Since I have set my "Dynamic LOD reduction" to max, my lagging/fps problems
are nearly gooooone.

-only thing about it, is that sometimes the other cars looks strangely boxy,
when many cars on track. -at start f.ex.
-but thats better than a jumpy field of 20 cars.
