As in I prefer racing other than cruising or drifting, but sometimes, when I haven't got enough time and concentration needed to do some laps, I just go for 10 ro 20 mins on a cruise server or one with a different layer, just to drive the car and "feel the wheel in my hands". I have no clue how to drift btw. Anyway, after that I'm going back to my business.

And for your information, my ION scored 3062 in 3DMark06 O\C ed, which yes, it may not be much, but we're talking about a 10 inch computer here and that's something. Anyway, LFS doesn't really use SM 3\4, does it? So at the end I find that quite irrelevant.

Been readin this topic for a while. Weird stuff going on here.

I play LFS using a netbook connected to my TV. This one is out of charts anyway.
CPU: Atom DualCore N550 1.85GHz with HT (4 threads)
GPU: NVIDIA ION 512GDDR3
RAM: 2GB DDR3
Point is, if I can play LFS with full grid having no problems, you will be able to aswell using an i3 + HD3000, which kinda has the same brute force as my ION does. Just go for it.
