EDIT: Tris, just saw your effort.. It's pretty good. May i point out a few things? Good.. The blur is a bit dodgy, best way to do blur is duplicate the whole image and apply the blur filter to it a few times. Then, use the rubber, or lasso tool (if you're confident!) to delete the object you dont want blurred - this will show the unblurred layer beneathe and will give a nice overall effect. I hope to god that makes sense!

Also, there's too much noise on there.. looks really distorted and appears to be a picture taken with a 30p throw-away camera from the 1970's. Tone it down, and take away some saturation to make it stand out a little more crisp. Hope you find this constructive..

Well i thought i'd post it regardless of the fact it's kinda old. I did this for Munko before he helped bring TSR back, so it's a v.Max shot.

It's got a few errors as i didn't put much time into it, so please forgive them!

This is hard to believe..

There's something not quite right with the games tyre model imo. We took the BF1 around BL1 last night and no matter the camber/pressure settings the inside of the tyre was burning after a couple of laps - the tyre itself remained cold.

This shouldn't, and certainly doesn't happen to tyres designed for formula-one cars at least.

We finally managed to find a solution, fiddling with the tyre pressures and using high-compound tires. I still think there is something not quite right in the game concerning this..

Cockpit usually.. although for some reason i tend to use the 'wheel view' for the LX's..

I'm sure every driver in real life would rather have the wheel view :P

It's not happened everywhere yet. There's still some on-going debate with the banning of tobacco advertising, but it will all be phased out eventually.

The skins people are making are fine..

I would show you but i'd be too ashamed of all the crap lying around everywhere. Although it would be fun to run some sort of competition from it.. '1st person to spot my wheel, pedals, and PC through all the rubbish wins a prize'

The problem with Logitech pedals is, they get very dirty inside very quickly. I've had this set for a good 2 years now, but i've had to dismantle them to clean inside at least 4 times.

If you own a dog you're asking for trouble - i opened my pedals up to find a massive collection of hair, nicely embedded in the pedals grease! Anyway, i didn't know what the problem was at first, but ingame i'd put my foot down and the throttle would be spluttering and not responding properly. I took them apart carefully, cleaned the endless ammount of crap and gunk in there and from there they were fine.

So i'd suggest having a look inside incase they do need cleaning.

I've lost count on the ammount of 'Game A compared to game B' threads I have seen so instead of reading through each page of this one, i'll just share my opinion with you straight away instead.

The only way to make the comparison is to buy both games and decide for yourself, or go to neutral ground and ask there. It's no good going to a forum that favours one of the games over the other, as no doubt the majority of posts will be biased (even if for the right reasons)

Let me just say, the Sim industry is in a healthy position today. It's because there is so much choice out there for the consumer that it is healthy, so let's not argue too much

Each game has it's pro's and con's. Most of the time, the game with less con's equals the better game, but you have to look at it's good points too.

The Team Syncro Racing launch 'party' will be held on this coming Thursday from 6pm (BST) onwards. It's nothing special, but you're all invited to join in for some fun and clean racing.
