is it the first time you opened lfs?

if i remeber correctly.. first time game starts it has to convert all the skins to dds which leaves screen black whiel down in bottom left you see a counter of how many skins have to be done.

dont know if this is what your experiencing at the moment?

hugo.. i had the exact same problem with my thrustmaster force feedback GT racing wheel couple years ago...

i would be driving along.. then suddenly wheel disconnects from lfs for no reason :/ and id end up trying to brake for corner and turn yet car goes str8 on.

only way i solved it was getting a new one :/ it wouldnt go.. and i never found out what the problem was.

in a game its easy to change from fuel to battery :P

in my mind it just needs couple of mods..

instead of fuel % you have electric charge %

change physics so the car dont lose weight when that % goes down.

just make the car like 200kg heavier compensate for battries.

so the whole stint the weight remains the same just that the charge % goes down..

oh and have some whiney crappy electric noise instead lol
