This sounds like arcade talk. You know, when some random dude at the arcade comes to you and says something absurd about the game you're playing, like:
- Dood, do you know that Akuma is Ryu's father?
And there's some guys that actually believe in this shit.
No, those people put a big and ugly £20 wing on their 1.0 Corsa, just to say "now my car can go fastar!"
Also, the same ricers waste lots of money to make the engine pull 500hp and a few pints in a "suspension upgrade" (AKA chop the suspension springs in half, to get the car closer to the ground) and proceed to go to trackdays thinking that they will kick ass, but get smoked by 140hp race cars.
Around the 15h mark there was a car that was less than 30s from the leader. What happened to him? Suddenly i couldn't see it on the leaderboard anymore
On a side related note, it appears that the quality of the Pirelli tyres has decreased quite a bit recently.
- Car is stopped
- Engage Neutral Gear
- Full Throttle
- Engage 2nd Gear
- Shift gears without lifting the throttle (AKA Flatshift/Powershift) to Top Gear
Its because its tough and time-consuming to do a good AI for racing games. And because a decent AI may be (i'm not scawen to tell this accurately) fairly low on the to-do list (compared to physics improvements), we have this kind of AI.
You know, you're not supposed to be racing (with AIs) rFactor, LFS, NASCAR 2003, *insert racing simulator here* offline. Racing sims can only be enjoyed with their maximum potential by racing online.
NOTE: The sentence above is FALSE if you race Grand Prix 4.
No game at all. Was already a racing fan since birth.
BUT, when i first got my Mega Drive (AKA Genesis in N.America) it came with a 10 in 1 cartridge, which featured Super Monaco GP and Super Hang-On.
Totally hooked on SMGP, until this guy G.Ceara showed up, and smoked me
Then i swapped consoles with a friend for a short time (he had a SNES). So i got TOP GEAR. It was (still is) awesome. We had NOS in a racing game way before that NFSU crap
Recently i got my hands at Top Gear again, just for a few minutes. Pulled off 444 kmh with the white car :o
