Wow, can't believe that I forgot this incredibly important piece of installation step to get the searching of setups to work for LFS in the SRS. This will require a change of a MySQL system variable in the configuration file.

A very sorry to those that have taken the time to use my program and found frustrations that the searching wasn't working.

Version 1.0 has been released. To get version 1.0, visit the link in the OP. A new automatic installation has been added, to make it easier, as well as adding table prefixes for those limited to one table, and a default sim setting in the config.php file. I know I said the upgrade would be just overwriting, but lots of files were changed, along with the adding of the prefixes, so it might just be easier to start over. Anyway, it's uploaded and ready for you guys. If there are any bugs, please report them on the website by opening a new ticket. Now I can work on the skin storage part.

Yeah, forgot to include those in the tar file for some reason.

Doh, forgot. It was set so my private beta testers didn't have to wait. Version 1.0 will have that fixed. While you're reading this, I checked out the searching and I had no problem with searching for a specific setup. Could you elaborate on your specific process of uploading, then searching for that setup?

Also searching seems broken for me. It only shows up results when everything is set to "All". It will show "FZR" under the cars column, but when I search for FZR setups nothing shows up. What have I likely done wrong?

Edit: Actually sorting by track and type work. Sorting by Car and Class do not work.

I'll have to go and test that out, but I was sure that I had that working. As for the default, yeah, I can work on a default setting option.

Read my post and you'll see why we wanted a new system. Besides, another downfall of that station was that you could only search for one option at a time. I wanted a system where you can choose multiple options and search once.

After being a little frustrated with my current team's setup storage system, posting them on the forum, I decided to embark on the project of creating a setup repository system. With this project, I would also be giving back to my team for bringing me on with them. Now, yes, there has already been a setup storing project posted on here, but there were a few things that our team needed that the current one could not deliver, one being that my project will also store iRacing setups as well as, in a planned upgrade, storage of private skins.

So, without delay, I present the 0.99 Beta version of the Setup Repository System. The repo includes features such as an advanced, multiple option search, user registration form, setups shown in ajax jquery datatable for ease of listing, and setups are associated types and classes such as hotlap, qualifications for types; and MoE, iTCC, GT2 for classes. As an administrator for your team's setups, you can customize all of those options.

Comments are always welcome. If you have suggestions and/or bugs to report, please use the "New Ticket" button on the Setup Repository System's website. I hope many of you find this very useful.

Well, it is written in silverlight, and is a fair amount more intensive than the VLFS Dash clone, so that's probably it. The clone is just simple dials, nothing more.

Correct in your assessment bunder, a lower number will be more fluid, not a higher number. Try the same in this program to see if it is more fluid. In fact, depending on computer hardware, people could even go to 1ms resolution for it to be faster than realtime :P.

rofl, it does use outgauge. i use insim as well for some timing information, and to make it easier to connect the program to LFS without having to edit the cfg.txt file. the fact that you can't figure out how to forward your router is not indicative of the difficulty of the program. in fact, i'm fairly certain that this new version is easier to setup for that simple fact of no cfg.txt editing.

I would assume your wireless internet is controlled by your router, however, all you have to do is find out what the local ip address of your LFS computer is, it's usually 192.168.1.xxx or 192.168.15.xxx. You then put that ip address into the clone program and it should work. If it does not work right away, you may have to forward the ports as well. This would have to be done in your router, and there are many tutorials available for your router. Go here for those tutorials: http://www.portforward.com/.

You first need to find out the IP address of your computer that's running LFS, and you plug that in the program where it says IP address. There's many tutorials available by googling for it.

Why would they go backwards? Is this something to do with copyright protection? I can't think why... just wondering why MS had to "break" their new OS's.

I run W7 as well, and have had that same problem. I overcame that by just making the LFS window span across the two monitors, since I run in windowed mode anyway. LFS recognized that it's resolution was now bigger, and enabled two monitors automatically. I just had to tweak it a bit and it worked well. Kinda disorientating with only one side monitor, but is neat anyway.

It's unfortunate that this has to be the last race of the league, but the league is viable no more. And as it turns out, I am needed to go to work right now. So, in lieu of this, the fastest recorded laps on airio on the server will be used for the qualifying times for the race tomorrow. So, that means that you guys get an unlimited number of laps to put in your fastest times. So, go have at it. We'll see you tomorrow for the race.

EDIT: Unfortunately, the race replay has become corrupted, so I was not able to get a screenshot of the race results, and had to resort to using the transcript on the server. However, the final points have been posted and the finishing positions have been accurately recorded. We admins have deeply sorry to see this league fall so early when it had so much potential, but we have no idea for the reason for the severe drop off of the number of racers that participate.
