- - V8 RWD cars
- - more turbo cars
- - more street cars(maybe something like civics, supras, mustangs, WRX). Cars that you would see at street races(atleast in the USA)
- - more engine dynamics( boost, power adders, etc)
since I am fairly new at this game I usally start within the 5th to 10th place range. at first I would go balls out and try to get the best spot out of turn one.
what I learned is to pick my line and be very careful. 4 or 5 other drivers might pass me but atleast 3 of them never make it out of the turn.
I also think the amount of restarts because of turn 1 is a cheeseball move on some. The times I have come out in the top 3 out of turn 1 i always have seen the big letters that say RESTART 3 - 2 - 1. I have to say this is the only let down i have with the game so far.
for the people that hit restart all the time - - - You can't win every race and if you have to restart until you do, your not a winner in my book. I've had more fun with a battle for 5th for 4 laps than knowing I'm going to finish 1st.
I'm on the east coast and if you want to start up a new team I'd be down for that. why be part of a team when you can start something new and make a name for yourself.
What a shame. I love playing LFS due to the respect on the track. I can play on the Redline servers for hours with nothing but clean racing and respect on the track(maybe turn one gets a litte hairy but thats part of racing). thsees toolboxes should stick with Mario Cart where the belong.
i'm very interested in joining an american team. I might not have that many miles put into the game so far but i'm no stranger to sim racing games. I wish I had discovered this game a while ago. I'm 30 years old so you dont have worry about any Kid BS from me.
My driving skill are fairly sharp and aggressive, all I need to do is learn the tracks a little better.
PM me if you guys are interested in a new member and we can take it from there.
When I go to multiplayer mode and get the list of online server games it always seems like no one is ever online. there is a couple of drifting tracks and one other full on racing server but other than that, no one. Is this because I'm in the united states and the time difference? whats going???? I know there is more than 30 people who play this game online. I play Battlefield 2 and at anytime there are 1000's of people on....
Thanks for the help, I hope to see more people online.
ok heres the deal. I have two problems and I dont know what to do.
1) i have bought and paid for a full version of the game. I'm on a new system now and i want the full version again. I keep reading that there is a link on the 1st or 2nd screen that says unlock and you put your username and password in to unlock s2. i cant find this anywhere. I even download it again. where the **** is it.
2) I got a DFP. I downloaded the logitech program to go with it. when i go to options to set the controls. I can not set the pedels. when i click to set the gas, nothing happens and i have to hit delete to be able to do anything. I also have it set on separate axis but when i go to the axis settings on the side only one bar moves for the gas and brake.
could someone please make me a urban camo skin for the XR? I'll throw some cash your way if you have paypal(as long as you make it a private skin. I want to use it for a drift team in the future and want it only for members.)
