The online racing simulator
someone please help!!! [with unlocking/DFP settings]
ok heres the deal. I have two problems and I dont know what to do.

1) i have bought and paid for a full version of the game. I'm on a new system now and i want the full version again. I keep reading that there is a link on the 1st or 2nd screen that says unlock and you put your username and password in to unlock s2. i cant find this anywhere. I even download it again. where the **** is it.

2) I got a DFP. I downloaded the logitech program to go with it. when i go to options to set the controls. I can not set the pedels. when i click to set the gas, nothing happens and i have to hit delete to be able to do anything. I also have it set on separate axis but when i go to the axis settings on the side only one bar moves for the gas and brake.

please someone help so i can enjoy this game
1.) Main screen just under your name on the left. should say Unlock S2.

2.) go to your Logitech Profiler go to, Device, Preferences.. Click on your wheel, then press properties, then Settings, UNTICK the combined axis button.

That should sort it out.
thanks. i redowloaded the game and was able to unlock. i will try out what you said

The accelerator and brake run on just one axis, so you'll need to have it set to 'Combined'.

Don't listen to him! In the Profiler/Options/Global device settings, take the tick/check OUT of 'Report Combined Pedals'. In LFS select 'Seperate pedals in 'Controls' and you'll find that your pedals are now seperate.

That is right, the pedals do NOT use the same axis unless you select it in the profiler. You can uncheck the box as mentioned above and make sure that you uncheck the box "combined axis" in Options>Controls>Wheel/JS. Then it should be fine. How much did you get your DFP for?

dpf and 900 degrees
I just plugged my dfp in and it works, but whats up with getting 900 degrees with it?! Does lfs support that with dfp. Also my force feedback seems a little lifeless and doesn't seem to react much.

I did download the logitech drivers from wingmanteam.com but still no difference, what am I not doing right?

Sorry, ignore this , just found the dfp discussion thread
