Yes I know, it's a problem with my previous hosting that went bankrupt. I'm waiting for the domain to be transferred to my new hosting. It'll be up within 5-6 days and then I'll have to re-upload everything.
In the meantime your best bet is hoping someone will upload it somewhere else for you.
No, no 1024 version. You'll have to suffice with resizing it yourself, as Sponge suggested.
The reason I released only 4096 and 2048 is because I wanted to ensure proper quality of this kit. And I don't really see 1024 as a proper quality size for a skin with thes kinds of details. All details get smudged and unrecognizable.
It's my hosting that's causing trouble. Don't know why but I'll look into it.
EDIT:: Seems my hosting is in a bit of trouble. I don't know whether it'll be up again or lost. Untill I know for sure I can't guarantee that my files will be available. If it goes down I'll be sure to get a new hosting service and try and make sure all files will be at the same links.
I've extracted this wireframe from the CMX file and I'm sharing this untill a proper skin kit will be released. It's a simple psd file with wireframe and the default skin as shadow layer.
Are you using the 3d painting tool?
I suggest you go and use the MSz skin kits, they're mapped and have a black mask to show where you can paint. Download them here
If you are using the skin kits then you've probably not selected the part where you want to paint.
There's several layers named with each part of the cars body in the skin kits. Hold down Ctrl and left click on the little preview of the layer you want to paint(in the layer menu bottom right). It should select the part you want to paint.
Then on a new layer use the fill/bucket tool to paint that part.
Very nice skin Thunderhead. And nice antenna mount. It is possible to remove individual parts of the lines if needed. Either by masking or working with the shapes in Photoshop(referring to the lines over the antenna mount)
