Hi All, Well the case of the missing 'throttle axis' has been solved by reintalling LFS AND D/LOADING from a different source.

Thanks, I've looked at the LFS Manual and made all the settings are as shown, I have also written to the LFS Techies without success,they suggest submitting this problem here on the forum as there are alot of G25 users, i did not experience calibration problems with my previous wheel (Actlab FGorce RS) my new pc has Vista and that does'nt support the old wheel.

Hi All, I am having major difficulties in trying to setup my new G25. The steering and brakes seem o.k. but the throttle axis does not seem to want to work
at all. I press the Axes/FF button in the controls page and then the 'recalibrate axes'.I depress my throttle pedal but nothing happens (no green vertical bar at the bottom right of screen) The throttle pedal works in Rfactor and in the 'control panel' so I don't think the G25 is at fault. Has anyone experienced any problems like this, could a reinstall of LFS help?

Hi Panda,Yes I have got the wheel doing the steering ok, but for some reason the brake and throttle are reversed, very frustrating. Any ideas why that could be happening?

Thanks Panda, I wonder if you could elaborate further on this recalibrate button as I'm not sure if you are referring to the controller page in LFS or the 'control panel' or even the Logitech profiler...I am running M/soft Vista Home Premium.

hi all, I'm the the lucky owner of a new G25, I must say that I'm finding it a bit of a trial setting up the pedal axes especially ,can anyone cast some light on the best procedure?

Dear Angry Angel, I applaud your obvious knowledge on this subject. I,as the person who has,in the past, raced with the Peejayh before he got his router. Can you tell us what ,if anything ,can be done to enable us to race again? Or does he have to take the router off his system? Hi All, I have a small problem, but then again,some might call it a large problem. The fact is I have large feet (size 13 u.k.) Before i invest a lot of money on a G25 wheel I need to know if I, with my bloomin' great plates will be able to use the pedals (especially the brake pedal effectively)?. Can anyone tell me anything about the distance (between centres) of the three pedals? Thanks a lot.

I'd be very happy to see a car (similar to an Audi R10) and a suitable longish type track to do some endurance type racing. Better yet a Real Audi R10

Matrox have a fantastic gadget called a 3TH2go (Ithink) which enables a computer with one graphics card to run 3 screens (with no loss of framerate or quality) It's really good. I saw a demonstration of it last Saturday in Bristol (using the new Microsoft FSX ) That's a flight sim for the uneducated amongst you. Seriously though, if you are looking for a way of getting an ultra wide display this system is well worth a look.

The best price for the Logitech g25 I have seen is £150.99 inc. vat and the postage is about £6.50 or so at www.dabs.com. Can anyone beat that?

Hi All, Has anyone heard who is going to stock the new wheel (G25) from Logitech in the U.K. yet, and a possible price?. I'd imagine there won't be too many stockist's because of the likely price, $299 is being mentioned and about$250 via Amazon in the U.S. Although the present £/$ exchange rate might make the U.K. price reasonable.

There is a track downunder called at Bathurst known as Mount Panorama where the annual V8 Supercars race over 1000kms if my memory serves me ...... It's an awesome track with long straight called 'Conrod straight'(for obvious reasons) and a twisty mountain section. Ihave been lucky enough to see this race first hand and one like would be a graet addition to the tracks on LFS at the moment...any views?

As for Max Mosley making important decisions on the future developement of F1, namely the freezing of engine development for 3 years. He said of Michael Schumachers conduct during qualification fo last Sundays race at Monaco that he didn't think MS cheated. If he thinks that after relegating him to the back of the grid,he should resign as he's not fit to govern motor sport.

How many times since Schumacher has been driving in F1 have we seen him plead his innocence after committing some devious trick or shrugging his shoulders as if to say 'who me?' He did it to Damon Hill, attepted to do it to Jaques Villeneuve, he even tried it on his own brother. A great driver he may be, but his attitude stinks. The FIA is spineless, fining the team and driver doesn't really hurt them all that much,but docking points or banning them from races might.

At the moment I am using an ACTLABS Force RS which I've had for about 5 years. It's o.k. at the moment but obviously it's done a few miles since new. If the new Logitech G25 is as good as it looks it could very well be my wheels replacement. After all there a few wheels on the market a lot more expensive.

What frustrates me is that the sports governing body,the FIA seems to let him get away with little or no punishment so often. Max Mosley said he would not say that Schumacher was 'cheating' but still relegated him to the back of the grid.If MSC was not cheating, why was he relegated and if he did cheat he should have been disqualified from the race.
