Hi All, Can anyone offer advice, I am trying to set up my G25, I have got steering working ok but throttle is not. When I start to race the engine is at max rpm. I am doing something wrong in the setup page, some advice would be appreciated.
Hi,I have been away for a while and have seen the new changes. I hold an S2 license which I would like to elevate to S3. Can you tell me if there is a price for doing this please, Daveebee
Hi, When you go to the HOSTING box (on toolbar next 'SHOP' you will find on called 'your hosts'....in there is a page giving your 'basic settings'
the TCP: bind failed occurs when you try to create host
I went to the LFS shop (see above toolbar) and rented the LFS Host,in order to stage races(as host) with my mates.I now need to know what settings to input in order to do this, I entered the setting in the information box andall I get is TCP:bind failed (I don't actually know what this term means)
Hi Guys, I am very new to this 'hosting' business , but I think I have probably not made my meaning clear, I am the one who wishes to be the 'HOST', my mates will be joining (I hope) . I hope this makes my meaning clear.
Hi,Can anyone please help? I have rented a HOST from the LFS shop in order to stage races with some of my mates. I have added the settings found in my host box such as 'HOST IP......'INSIM PORT' AND MY NAME ,ADMIN PASSWORD and HOST PASSWORD. When I click on 'GO' in order to start race I get an error box 'TCP: bind failed'
Can anyone tell me what or why I get 'bind failed, or better still tell me if I have done something wrong, any help anyone can give to get us racing will be much appreciated.
I have downloaded and installed the latest version after a considerable layoff due to illness. My game password and webpassword are the same for simplicity. I find I am unable to locate the boxto unlock all the cars available to my S2licence. Has this location been changed? If it has ,where is it please? Thanks
I have been reading this entire thread,I have recently reinstalled LFS after a layoff of over 3 years. During that time I have been involved with Pcars which is in active development with new builds occurring almost daily. I think it's going to be a great motor racing simulation. It's a great pity in my opinion that LFS's further development seems to have run it's course as there was so much potential. I just wish the dev's would come clean and say 'That's your lot guys, there's no more coming'.
I have in the last few days reinstalled LFS after a break of about 3 years,it hasn't changed a bit. Sadly when I removed it I had got the distinct feeling that, sadly LFS's further development has hit a unmovable object. It's a real pity. I have since installed Pcars and more recently Assetto Corsa which are both good in their different ways. Strangely, after all this time of 'zero' further progress there are still features of LFS they could both learn from.
Hi All , I'm new to LFS and I like the FOX. I have no idea how to improve the top speed and handling , can anyone send me a setup and of course tell me how to install it,Many Thanks
Hi All,I have been away from Lfs for quite some time , I have to say it looks as good as ever. After reading up on the various updates I have noticed that there is going to be an S3 version. Is it known yet when this version of the license will be available as I will definately be interested in upgrading to S3
Hi again, As I am new to WIN7 (3days) Can you please elaborate on this term ...Free-Fall Hardware Acceleration .... I haven't heard of that before, where is it to be found? Thanks for your help.
Hi ,I tried to host first and received the 'connection' timed out ' message. I also had the window7 message from the firewall ,which I unblocked. About 2 year ago we were able to connect with no problems at all. Some change occured (maybe a LFS software update,I'm not sure) and we couldn't connect anymore.
Last night Itried to host a race with my brother and got a 'connection timed out' message. Can anyone give me a simple explanation for any of the reasons this can occur. I have recently changed my O/S to Win7 32. LFS runs perfectly in this and I am able to connect with the list of 'Host' to be found in the m/player section. What I need to know is what is the difference between them ,and me trying to host a private race with another person with LFS? Thanks if anyone can shed some light on this.
That's what I like about this forum . There are so many helpful people. I'm the wannabee racer in France by the way. LFS is a brilliant racing sim, far too good to be called a mere game. I have to say though I'd love to see the inclusion of some prototypes like the Peugeot and the Audi turbodiesels and a Le Mans type track to race them on ,Bathurst in Australia, now that WOULD be good.
Dear Angry Angel, I am the person that Peejayh is trying to connect with.Perhaps I can shed a little more light on his problems. He has 2 computers, they are connected to the internet via a router, the router, I assume ,is connected to the internet via his modem. In order to race with me he has to reconnect his modem directly to his computer(disconnecting his router in the process) If you can help him enable a connection with me without the inconvenience of him crawling under his table and messing about a load of wires I will be very grateful to you. Then I'll be able to give him even more thrashings
