Remote central locking kit arrived today too, and i have 0 electrical knowledge so that should be fun trying to fit. Also need a new diff after finding out only one wheel is spinning up i may weld it but it's used on a daily basis so i'm unusre

One downside of the new vents is that because the spokes are square at the back the centre vents are now virtually useless they just warm up the dashboard lol

About the sat/nav unit, are you not afraid of it being stolen? So far in my Miata'ing years, I've lost one headunit & it was a fairly old/cheap one. I also live in a pretty safe neighborhood for that kind of nonsense. But yeah, I've been tempted install similar, but given how easy it is to get into a convertible..

i've seen it done on a few and it looked cool so thought i'd give it a go, proper wheels come next thursday so hopefully shouldn't take long to refurb them.

About the head unit, it has a detachable face and i either park it in my garage or behind a building in university so it's usually hidden

Got a set of watanabe rs8 on the way, in rough condition but i'll split and refurb them over the course of a week and they should be on soon enough, also won on ebay a kenwood dnx-5220 double din satnav/headunit which should be good as i currently have none.

Also have some 1/10 scale watanabes in the post to use as air vents which should look cool

Been really awesome to drive the mx5, it's like going from digital to analogue all the inputs feel so awesome compared to the arosa

yet another change of wheels, the oz's were too big on my arosa so gunna order eother some 949 6ul's or some rota rkr's

New wheel arrived today, will be fitting it as soon as my quick release boss comes

I haven't yet, i may get a custom boss made to fit the hub to the wheel that will be much thinner. The seats are starting to tear at the drivers bolster so they'll need retrimming or replacing

I have a suede momo wheel on the way along with a quick release hub just for added security, i'll finish the detailing off the weekend after i've got insured on it if i can manage to stop driving it

I'd get a respray in original colour as i rather like it after polishing it

i would like to respray it but i'm unsure seeing as the car has done 130k i feel as it's a waste if the mechanicals aren't up to scratch

Yeah been considering lips, unsure of where i want to go with the car yet though. Either really nice and simple with leather buckets, leather wheel and nice subtle lip and spoiler or go balls out with a huge BGW and front splitter

Law states it has to be on the nearside of the window. Draw a line down the middle of the car, it can be anywhere on that side as long as it is visible from the kerb. Probably worth noting if plod thing it'll obscure the drivers view, it is a a ticketable offence.

I did buy it from a chav hence the wheels and placement of reg and tax disc, also had a great big teddy on the tow hook and a stupid sticker saying 'cruising is not a crime'
