De la Rosa was right, if Kubica or Alonso had driven one of the top cars they would be the leaders of the championship by far. As I said, at least this year neither Massa or Hamilton deserve to win anything.
Too bad (at least for me) that one of them will, just cause they have a good car, not by driving merits.
Absolutely amazing how Alonso drove that car. 3rd fastest lap in a Renault! Congrats to Kubica too, flawless race. Nothing new, the 4 top drivers screwed up, neither Hamilton or Massa deserve that WDC. Kubica should win the title.
Ferrari are screwing it really bad this year.. How can they keep those drivers there?
AWESOME drive by Alonso and Rosberg. The fact that the kerb's were falling off and the track so bumpy made it really interesting. I want more tracks like this, not the other bumpless, perfect and boring tracks. We need more hardcore action!
The track is an absolute mess. It's not even finished yet, the kerb's are not even stuck to the floor and it doesn't drain water (although this might be interesting for the race), the turns are full of puddles, actually the turns are just puddles when it rains.
And I lol'd at how Alonso and Piquet have to learn the track. The team gives them a map of it with the gears used (estimated) on each turn and straight and some youtube links showing it.
He was gaining around 2 seconds per lap when he was behind Massa and as de la rosa said, he probably couldn't do more probably because of graining. You could see him recover a bit in the last 2 laps I think when another car was catching up behind him.
Are you really that blind to see what happened in Monaco between Kimi and Sutil?
The conclusion is - bring gravel traps to EVERY single corner again. No passing straight through a chicane again, or at least put barriers and things to make it hard to go straight in a chicane and actually make them lose time, not gain.
