Back then people didn't have so many games to play, they should play LFS or rFactor, and some people used to play GT5, GT6, some used to play Forza 3 and 4, but LFS physics was and still is much better than these franchise.
Now we have iRacing, Assetto Corsa with tons of cars and track mods, which is what people want to see on LFS and we also have rFactor 2, Project Cars 2, Forza Horizon 3 and Forza 7 for PC, better saying now we have more options to spend the time, with simulation games and tons of arcade games and for PC, and that's why people aren't so interested only on LFS.
You can count in a single hand how many people work on LFS, it's not even smart to compare it with the new era games that we got now, and if you read the lastest post of Scawen you'll see that the game it's not "dead"
You complain about something but you dont support the devs, how do you want something good in return?
Yeah thanks for linking me to that post, let's just wait for the time to pass, because i think that there are not so much that we can do to help the Devs with.
I bought the S3 content like many others did, for respect and support their work on this new "phase" of updates that are going to come on the next... years?
But anyway...
I don't get your point, look at the tracks that got improved, they aren't bad as they were before. If you say that SO it's going to be "destroyed" what would you do to improve the driving experience on LFS? Add some shiny graphics and make it a steam game?
A brand new SO would be so welcome like any other track updated, not to mention that FE also needs some "make-up" treatment
Well, about the physics, it's a huge YAY for sure but i don't think that people still care about the Scirocco at all, like what everyone knows it's that LFS is all about physics>content and the licensed content it's not so relevant nowadays but look, that's just my point of view, like, when the Rockingham track was still on development, everyone was crazy about it and since the S3 came out, on the racing and drifting forums that i used to check, people would play it like 24/7 but the reality is that the track is forgotten and people are still about the customized layouts, having fun with it's old physics and you know, enjoying the game as it should, but again, that's just my point of view.
If we had proper tools or just an easier way to make our own mods for LFS like on Assetto Corsa or rFactor, tools to create tracks and cars, things such as bikes, karts and trucks wouldn't be a problem for the dev team, i mean, we know that you guys have a lot of thing to do and LFS it't not a priority on your "to do list" so, release the tools and let the community bring the game back to it's gold days.
I'm on g29 here, i didn't noticed any changes on the new version of LFS (on 36 degrees) and i don't understand how you've noticed that using only your mouse and not a proper wheel, it's like someone that's blind complaining about what they can't actually see, idk if you get it but anyway, no changes noticed at all...
yes i completely understand what you mean, all those things would be good only with the physics improvements that LFS needs, lets just wait and see what the future holds.
It's not about going "faster" Sr. Paul Walker, i also think that 247hp for XRT it's more than enough and i don't think i would enjoy a "proper" drift car more than i like the XRT's physics but the thing is that a XRD would be better because XRT it's a street car, 36 degrees feels like a stock car, like the Nissan S13 that also has 36 degrees of steering lock.
45 degrees would be much better for a car with different specs than the usual XRT that we have, larger tires, power full engine, some roll cage on the inside and all the stuff that the other guys mentioned before.
If there's someone bitching on something here, it's you that came to this thread just to complain about other people's opinion.
Well yea the idea of making a proper drift car for LFS it's the best thing to do for now and i think that even if LFS it's not a "drifting sim", LFS it's much better than any other "simulator" that people also drift on, even the real drifters says that the drifting feeling on LFS it's much more accurate to a real car, than the AC or rF mods out there, and LFS it's way too limited, just a few tracks, uncountable layouts, the same underpowered cars with the tires that need improvement and not so much things to adjust on the cars and the game it's still alive BUT, with "all that stuff" people get bored of it so fast.
If we had more tracks, more cars or perhaps even tools to create that kind of stuff and put them all on LFS, people would still rather play LFS than any other game, just ask people why they dont play LFS and they will confirm that and, if you take a look at the servers nowadays, the only thing that it's not allowed to drift and that it's still alive, it's the TC Server, the other ones that are still alive are the drifting ones. I don't think that my point of view is important or not but anyway lets wait and see what Scawen is going to do for us, he already did something for the drifting people and that's a good start in my opinion.
well hello, i'm using the latest version of it and when i try to run the game with fraps open, the lfslazy stop showing its customized gauges and while the fraps remain running the lfslazy wont show the dashboard... idk how i can explain that but when i close everything and open everything again but the fraps, the dashboard gauges are there. I'm using win 10 at this moment...
yes the front car was using the e-brake, and i also tried to make it spinning on ps but the angle of the rim make it hard to make it looking good : \\
