IMO it's being suggested for the wrong reasons. Cruising is not a way to get stuff done. In a way, open tracks would be nice, because you could make custom configurations to race on. On the other hand, do we need it?

It's a 0 for me. +1 for the ability to make custom circuits. -1 because it would give cruisers even more.

Try this font. It's the closest to Hamlin's as I can find.

1. Fix the Chevy logo.

2. You can put the FedEx logo on top of the body kit like I did on this skin: http://i465.photobucket.com/al ... kins/XRR_EdwardsAflac.jpg

3. If you need any help with NASCAR skins, PM me on here, and I'll help you out. I have some experience(Over 15-20 skins).

While browsing YouTube, I stumbled upon this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ExPOQNT5UUo

Feeling curious, I decided to research Russel Phillips. I warn you this is one of the most gruesome descriptions I have ever read.

Quote : Phillips was in 10th place when he was hit by the car of Steven Howard, who steered high to avoid a two-car spinout. Howard's car forced Phillips' car onto its right side, then smashed it roof-first into the retaining wall. Until 1996, NASCAR cars were not yet required to be equipped with the "Earnhardt bar", a roof-support bar running down the middle of the windshield, designed to prevent fatal roof collapse in roof-first accidents. [1] Resultantly, the existing roll bars failed to protect the roof; both the roll bars and the roof itself were sheared completely off the car, exposing the interior of the driver compartment and grinding it against the wall and fence. When the vehicle came back down onto the track on its wheels, there was a massive "gaping hole" where the top of the car was supposed to be.

Phillips, whose upper body was ground against the track's steel catch fence and a caution light fixture at high speed, was both partially dismembered and decapitated, in what a photographer on-scene described as "as gruesome a wreck as I can ever recall".[2] In video of the accident, the first rescuer on scene could be seen running to the car, then immediately turning away from the wreck after seeing Phillips' body and realizing the hopelessness of any attempt at resuscitation. The track was littered with car debris, blood, and numerous pieces of Phillips' body, necessitating a complete and lengthy race stoppage (red flag) while track officials wearing surgical gloves placed white sheets over various body parts in the vicinity of the crash. The driver's head (still wearing his helmet) was found at the entrance of the pit road, and one of his hands was found suspended in the retaining fence.

R.I.P.

Motocycle circuits have some things that are good. Air walls for instance have saved a lot of lives. But indeed, he died doing what he loved.

Hello,

Could someone please render these 2 skins. I want just a simple studio render with the cars parked next to each other. Thanks in advance, and *2048 attached.

Get what? Koinigg's crash? He ran off track due to suspenion failure and the car crashed into the ARMCO barrier(This isn't the actual barrier, just an example). The bottom part of it wasn't properly secured, and the car went through. The top part of the barrier remained intact, and effectivly sliced the car's top off. Koinigg was decapitated from the impact. In the photo, you can clearly see Koinigg's headless corpse in the cockpit, and a black sphere towards the rear of the car. This is his helmet, with his head in it.

:vomit: Ah. Such a terrible way to go. I can't imagine the terror of seeing the barrier approaching; or even being the first man on scene and seeing that. I just hope it was quick and painless, which it appears it was. That's quite a disturbing photo to say the least.

I've seen the photo. It really brings forth a tsunami of emotions I couldn't begin to explain. Sadness, depression, sickness, etc. It is such a horrible way to go out, but one thing is certain, like all motorsport deaths, he died doing what he loved.

For those curious and brave enough, the gut-wrenching newspaper photo mentioned above. You've been warned:

*sigh*

Another one... /facepalm

1.You can't edit that skin...

2.You didn't even ask my permission to edit it, and did it anyways...

3.You did a God-awful job of editing it...

4.You attempted to credit me and failed...

Hopefully this was caused by pure ignorance instead of disregard for copyright law. Just delete it, and don't use it; and next time, ask first. You can't imagine how annoying it is to put multiple hours of work into something to have someone desecrate it like that.. Sorry if I come off rude, but this drives me up the wall.

I surely hope so. It really is a stunning wheel and I'd hate to see it go to waste. Best of luck to you.

Well, when the actual wheel on the car costs around 40000 euros, did you expect to get a replica for 100? I'm sorry you got screwed, but such a nice product would never be that cheap.
