Quote from FL!P :Not sure what you mean, here. IMO, the solution would be for the skins_x folder (or its contents) to be encoded by LFS, to prevent people from seeing and re-using downloaded skins.

Yeah thats what i was getting at

or encript the skins_x folder so u cant view them via the folder

Quote from ATC Quicksilver :

Also Winter Olympics on the Atari was good fun, cross country skiing involved wiggling your joystick left to right for about 20 minutes, usually resulting in either a broken wrist or a broken joystick.

i remember simular games, daily thompsons decathlon and track and field!

I saw a good lag crash in STCC2 the other day,
2 cars were infront when one lagged and dissapeared, 5 seconds later the said car popped back onscreen litrally in the same place as the other car infront BOOM! 1 car went one way the other car in the other , all you could hear is BEEP BEEP and a a few WTF's! in the chat menu,

Once the sorrys and explanations were said they got back to racing,

The rally school stage is great fun for practicing, if i remember the stage was only around 1:20 and pretty fast, The cars feel nice and powerfull and are great for some hot rally action

I dont think its fair booting to spectate somebody who has just been lapped by three drivers.

annoying when u realise u flicked that cockpit ignition while going for the starter and your now sitting in the middle of the track with a flat battery with no hope of restarting.

Yes the XT 500 has a decompresser that opens once you try to kick it up,
i remember as my friend used to own one as a field bike and it nearly snapped my leg a few times as my foot slipped of during kicking it up,

With LFS and NKP you get a great driving experiance,
NKP is probrably better with stalling and great sounds but LFS has the best online mode,(its hard at times finding even one person online in NKP!),
Both of these sims however feel like the tyres are touching the tarmac, unlike the G motor based games with its floaty driving experiance

I agree, Thats why i play LFS
The killer for Rf is the shoddy way they looked after the mods, nowhere to centrally download them from and 6-7 diffrent versions of some tracks,
I used to find myself downloading a new mod/track nearly everynight so i could get a race!
Nowadays its so much better just having to plug my wheel in to play LFS knowing i can connect to every public server in the lobby

But that it the mod maker's fault not RF's. Some of the models are quite frankly stunning, (megane,f-1, ect ect)

Quote from csimpok :Anyway I have the feeling that a mouse is better suited for controlling a car and you can see lots of mouse drivers pretty close to wr's at some tracks (mainly with slower cars though).

But I would recommend a wheel, a used Momo from Ebay won't empty your bank account IMO

or a driving force pro

19" wide here i would love a 22" but i think 3 19" on a triple head would be pretty cool (in my dreams)

running here at a max of 1440 x 900 not so good as i used to run my 19" CRT at 1600 x 1200 but i have a hell of a lot more space now i got rid of that 19" CRT
