Yeah, well you probably downloaded it very recently, cos i think they threw all the old ones out, saw the other day, that there was A LOT fewer than there usually was, so even Inferno has seen the light, so STOP renaming them, it should be a proper setup...
As my title states i am really satisfied with the new things in Patch Y, but found an extra one... Finally i can get my setups organized...
Seing that we have to make/get new setups for all combos, now its time to get them organized, finally rid of all those notes everywhere, so i made this little speardsheet, that i think covers it all, for each combo there is a field for both Setup Name and Time set with it.
Hope some of you will find it usefull as well, so if you have Excel 2003+ here you are:
Enjoy
Kindest holiday wishes to all

EDIT: THIS IS NOT A QUESTION OF REMANING GUYS, THEY DO NOT WORK PROPERLY... I PURPOSELY DELETED ALL OF MINE
This has happened a few times (2 i think) to me, im my case it is the graphics card that get too hot, being winter i open my window. But now i have limited my graphics card to 62 FPS, and it VERY rarely happens that it misses a frame or 3, and when that happens i open the window, and it stops missing frames... Usually it happened in races with large grids...
BTW have seen my graphics cars top out at around 320 FPS, but as i said, limited it to 62, which it cannot even hold in large grid races, then it goes below, and then it starts to get hot again... Maybe i should consider watercooling, as i don't want the noise of the computer...
A short question to all the technical guys out there...
Does a "real" racecar loose turbo pressure, when lifting throttle, shifting and reapplying the throttle? This was one of the first things i noticed, after trying the X31... The "good" thing about cut blip thingy, was that it kept the turbo pressure at max. during gearchange... But the sound when lifting to shift is WAY more realistic than the old X10 Cut Blip thing...
Or am i in fact lifting the throttle too much?
One thing i will say is: Thank god i am here now, having to adjust my driving a little bit at a time. Think in a year or 2, how difficult it will be for noobs, to get the hang of LFS Maybe we need even more patience with noobs, and maybe help them, instead of just letting them know how bad they are...
MAYBE, it should be possible to have these "new" things as options for single player, so noobs in the future can learn bit by bit, as we can now...
For me to be able to check, what you are saying, i need to be viewing the F9 or F10, and then i don't see the standings... And yes i do know that its only a push of a button away, but clutch getting RED is a race killer, so it would be nice to know its getting critical BEFORE it gets critical...
Sure i would like to be nice to the clutch, and when watching it, i can see that i am in fact cooling it down, once i have set off, BUT, it would be nice to get a possibility of keeping an eye on it, without having to "press" for it, i don't look at it all the time, but glance at it like i did with tire temp, UNTIL i learned to keep tires cool enough to last a race distance... And during that, leaning to keep tires cold, i missed my standings... Again not looking at them all the time, but just to check once in a while... Normally i am too busy looking at the track/traffic As i should be...
Well not entirely, driving a G25 i only have 2 buttons on my wheel, used for looking left and right, normally i look at the standings in the race, so i know, passing splits, how far i am in front/behind someone, and if i am gaining/loosing, but with the new CT i, at least in the beginning, need to see the CT, that means either i need to take my hands off the wheel to press a button, or only see the CT/Tire or CT/Damage, and what i really would like is to see is CT/Standings...
Maybe the standings could get shown, like times in qualifying, once you have passed start/finish for 5 or 10 seconds, like a real pitcrew would do in real racing
Didn't know where else to put it, so here it is...
Looking at the fact that Clutch Temp is in both F9 and F10 screens, might there be a way that its just there all the time?
Now that it is here, i would like to be able to see both the standings AND the CT, without letting go of the wheel, could it be an option like Frames/s and time or CT?
Could the CT be an actual temperature? Maybe even heat colour graded like tires?
Well, all from me for now... Click
EDIT: BTW is there a reason that standings disappear when viewing F9 or F10? Cos that would solve the problem of the most of the request
I am embarrsed that i started writing more than the fact that i think the clutch seems unrealistic. People started commenting on everything but the fact, that i think the clutch is urealistic...
Sorry for deleting the original post, didn't save it, so can't restore it, but the essential thing was the fact, i find the clutch simulation unrealistic, and a lot of other totally not interesting facts about myself, but that extra text, was what i felt people was commenting on, and i tried to stop it by deleting the original post...
And worst of all, people started acusing me of whining, which is definately not the case, but thats just what i am embarresed about, nothing else...
Funny thing there, FXR doesn't have CT "activated" so i am more calm now, i love endurance racing, and must say, lifting on every single gearshift in 1, 2, 3 or 4 hour stints would be madness, but i will just keep to the cars where i can "control" the Clutch Temp...
Cramer has given me the job of being race admin for tomorrow, plus we discussed the test race, normally it is 5 laps, but seing that the race itself is only 8 laps, it has been decided that the test race for this particular event will be changed to a 3 lap testrace.
