Oooooh! Thanks! That command wasnt in the lfs manual... is there any others I should know about? for instance, what does rcc_ply, rcm_ply, or rcc_all do? (or at least tell me where I can learn this)

When you are admin of a server and you want to send a message to all players, is there a command to make a message that comes up in the middle of the screen? Or is the only option to have that tiny little text in the top left? thanks!

Thanks for all the replies guys! now I have another question: I remember a long time ago when I got lfs there was some way to make the mouse Y axis and X axis preform different functions, (such as accelerating and braking) was this removed in a later patch or is it still there? and if it IS still there, how do you get to it? (I can't find it anywhere!)

Just one question: I realized after some time that I'm at a dis-advantage (along with alot of others im sure) in the case that I use touchpad+keyboard and lack analog (is that the word) gas and brake peddles. So I got a little curious and decided to ask you guys if there is some sort of official or un-official reccord with the turbo on bl1 with mouse, keyboard, wheel, or gamepad. And is there anything I should know that others without my little problem wouldn't need to worry about? My best time so far is 1:27.89.

I've thought of this before too, I always used to wonder how it would be if, instead of pain, there was some other ill-effect, (I can't think of any off the top of my head that wouldn't ruin the whole game though) I remember not long ago I would take the turns at maximum speed and about 50% of the time I might make it, (finishing the race was a rarity) and I was thinking, what if instead of starting fast and getting slower, you started slow and had to increase speed with experience?

That's exactly my problem, I've tried "mouse up is power mouse down is brakes" but that is so complex it's nearly impossible. is there any way to program a "50% power" button? (I doubt it but hey, it's worth a try)

Hi again all, would anyone mind watching this short replay of me doing a hotlap and tell me what I'm doing wrong on T1 (or anywhere else for that matter) Because I notice alot of people get a 1st split of 28, and mine is barely under 30 on a good day, if I could get my 1st split down 2 secconds it would greatly improve my lap time I'm sure.

Thanks a lot guys, I look at my (digital) speedometer a lot coming around corners, but I noticed if I try to do it by "feel" I can sometimes come around it faster. Thanks for the help again!

When racing, how often do you keep you eyes on the speedometer? Or do you just guess the speed you should take a corner at, or is it just 2nd nature eventually?

Also, I seem to notice almost everyone talks in Km/h instead of mph, should I switch accordingly? (I use mph).
