We have a TomTom One v3 at home and it's great (even better when it's in the car, mmwwuhaha ).
We also use a TomTom One XL in the van at work every day, and it has never once suggested to us to go somewhere stupid, and also seems to have very up to date maps.
The maps are VERY clear, with simple, clear and precise instructions.

TomTom ftw

Yep, i know exactly how you feel Crashgate, and no, there's no turning back.

Just the other day, a couple of "Yoofs" were playing Kerby on the road outside my house. And i just stood in my house, watching until the ball went too far and hit my car, when i promptly went out and told them where to go.
I couldn't help thinking afterwards how much i enjoyed playing Kerby as a youngster, and what i thought of miserable old gits telling me to move along, or to go play "down my own end".
I'm 26 now, but i feel i should have as many wrinkles as Bladerunner

At £150 new delivered, i'd consider revising the price, anyone with any sense spending that sort of cash would just pay an extra £20 to get a new fully working product with a warranty.

Just a suggestion, not a dig

Congrats fella , didn't think i'd see you in a team again just yet though.

I still need a bit more of a break tbh, but i hope i can drop into such a quality team myself when the time comes.

Well done CR!

Another great selection, i've just popped the album in my CD player (Presuming it IS the Fight Club soundtrack you have on?)...

I love that track! Have you seen the Chris Cunningham video that he made for that track? Here it is if you haven't, cracking, but slightly creepy

Just an FYI, i have always used Realtec Onboard Sound, and it has never once caused any issues with LFS... Be that using XP or Vista.

He took a break from LFS too, but he started his break a month or so back now...

Thanks for the kind words guys. Man, we were hot!

But yeah, i totally lost interest in LFS, i hate to say it, but i did. To be honest i lost interest waaay before xmas, the only thing keeping me going was building our team website, so the descision was not made with haste.
I suppose other things in my personal life () have recently contributed to my lack of interest, but mainly it's the same old LFS, which is great by the way, but i need a nice long break from it all.
I certainly won't be gone forever, i fully intend to be back at some point, when LFS is a bit further down the development road.

So thanks to all our members past and, very recently past , i hope you all find fast and friendly homes

I have to say, if it was a 100% finished/polished SIM that i was very happy with, didn't look like a cartoon, had no bugs, had as much or more content than the Gran Turismo series, and had no stupid rFactor-like diluted mod scene, then i would happily pay hundreds of pounds to own it tbh.
Perhaps i would even consider venturing into the four figure bracket...

Changing the pot won't help you if you're trying to increase rotation, it's very likely that there is a mechanical "stopper" limiting your wheel to 270deg.
Also, the force feeback controller will only be able to "see" 270deg rotation.
So, i'm sorry, but AFAIK you would need to just purchase another wheel to get more rotation. Don't forget about the classic DFP, you should be able to pick a second hand one up for relatively little cash.

I used to be slightly irritated by the fish eye effect with my TH2Go, but i don't notice it any more tbh, i use 118 FOV.
I suggest that, until a solution comes along in a future patch, you just try to ignore it, and eventually you will forget it's there.

Seen that question asked a hundred times, it's surprising how many people don't think to try the solution, considering how you can drag nearly everything else to where you want it within Windose.

Quote from pb32000 :3GB?! Christ I downloaded more than 3 times that yesterday alone.

Uhuh, yeah, as most of us do, but you're not my Mother....

Quote from beefyman666 :It's not how much you download that caps it, it's the download/upload rate.

For instance if you're on the 2mb pack, and you go over more than 128kb/s (not sure if that's actual figure, but it's something around that) download rate, then it gets raped to 60-70kb/s

When I can find the website about all this I'll post it up, I lost all my bookmarks in a recent format.

Hmmm, Virgin Media website states otherwise;
Traffic Management (4pm - 9pm)

2mb service - Download at least 300mb and speed cuts to 1mb
4mb service - Download at least 800mb and speed cuts to 1mb
10mb service - Download at least 3gb and speed cuts to 5mb

caps last for 5 hours

If however it IS like you say, can they really get away with quoting something entirely different on their website?
