As for the LG thing if i was buying a hd telly i wouldnt have gone with a lg but after seeing what my Dad payed for his and the picture quility with ps3 and cod5 (and i have seen it on Sony and Samsung hd tellys) I would happily have one and save the extra £200-£300 you would spend on a Sony or Samsung.

I know all the scripts. Not because i've seen them all or read them all, but because once you know the format everything else is pretty easy to work out. Once you've worked in TV it's hard not to be cynical about it, I could not - for instance - watch Big Brother. They produce far too many hours of programming for the low quality script writers that they have on it to pad the show out. Oh dont be thinking it's not scripted. Dr Who is good, I know the ending of course but I do enjoy watching that, Spooks had a good pace to it (superb director) and my personal favorite was Hustle (not the real Hustle, a lesser known BBC series simply called Hustle). It's not like I dont enjoy TV - I just dont understand how the amount of programming on it that there is is worth the licence fee. I'd much rather just rent the DVD's and watch them on computer - which is exactly what I do, totally up all the shows from last year that where worth watching - I spent £48.

Well at least i know there are 3 clever people on this forum....

I think you have to be s2 licenced to you the patch z tweak.

well plasmas are crap, they run out after a while, and cost to replace the bulb.
LCDs these day can be seen from any angle, so i don't know what you're on about.
And yes, all LCD tvs are made in the same old factories no matter what the make..

All TVs are made in LG or Samsung factories anyway... just rebranded.

We just got a 47" LG HD scarlet, and omg it's the best TV ever, far better than the Samsung 32" HD one we have...
Very good tv, was about £800 I think. and it's easy to use and very clear to play a Ps3 on

just make a factory backup of everything on your hdd...lots of programmes for that.
then install your new OS
Then at a later date if you want to go back to factory settings just put the disc in, and it'll load all of the OS and everything.

Well i've ordered it now.
And i get free 3g on my orange contract for it.

I know why, this happened on mine aswell.
Every time you play LFS, you just have to open the LOgitech Control gaming centre programme.
Then it works all fine
