Hello racers, we are pleased to announce the LFS Le Mans Series

Sat. 24/10/15 - Fern Bay BLM
Sat. 14/11/15 - South City Long
Sat. 05/12/15 - Westhill International
Sat. 19/12/15 - Kyoto National
Event times:
18:00 UTC - Qualify
18:25 UTC - Race Start
Race format:
Qualify: 20 minutes
Race: 1h30m + 1 lap
Pit Stop: 1 mandatory
There are two different categories of cars:
GT1
FZR (15kg ballast and 1% air restriction)
FXR
XRR
NGT
UFR (1% air restriction)
XFR
Each category will have its own drivers championship.
The team championship will settle for a car in each category, however it is not mandatory to join the league.
Points for the two categories:
1º 40 11º 10
2º 34 12º 9
3º 30 13º 8
4º 26 14º 7
5º 23 15º 6
6º 20 16º 5
7º 18 17º 4
8º 16 18º 3
9º 14 19º 2
10º 12 20º 1Extra points:
Pole position: 1 point
Fastest lap in race: 1 point
Bonus Point:
Attendance in all 6 rounds: 5 points
At the end of the championship in case of a tie it will be defined taking into account the higher number of victories, should continue to be considered tied then the higher number of second places, should continue to be considered tied then the higher number of third places, should be considered a continuing tie then the most fourth places finish and so on. If the tie persist then the results in the final race will be considered to decide the champion.
Driving regulations is consistent with the basic rules of a fair competition which can be read here.
Anyway we remember some basics:
BLUE FLAG: You can not deny or block an overtaking maneuver who is minus one turn (laping or lapeando). You can not overtake the driver in front of you until he is also lapped.
In classification should stay off the racing line in order not to disturb the ones who are on a flying lap.
YELLOW FLAG: You must drive carefully because an incident occurred in front of you. You may not overtake a vehicle under this condition except to whom / who suffered the incident.
SHORTCUTS: It is forbidden to cut the track, that means that two wheels at all times must remain within the track.
CHAT: It´s not forbidden but it is expected that the pilots minimize it to allow all drivers to concentrate.
Abusive or offensive language will be penalized.
CHEATS: are not allowed, and the ones who are caught doing it, will be banned for ever.
Out of pits: the lines that demarcate it must be respected.
Skins:
Do NOT use skins with offensive images!
If a skin that contains nudity, pornographic, racist or other offensive content will be disqualified. Keep it fun, people of all ages play LFS.
Feel free to use our LOGO (the logo of the championship links and sponsor) in skin if desired.
While it is not required a number or name format to identify the categories during qualifying and race drivers must use their nicknames before the following: GT1 green and blue NGT
