look m8... i completely agree.. run smaller heats to fan out the (crashers) and then the main event. Now to my credit. to my fellow americans.. who seem to think racing started elsewhere than ovals. Yes in some way racing did not start on ovals but this sure is close dont you think? racing started in 1895 in france. Oval race at the Indy 500 in 1911

As far as facts, if someone has better info plz post, i would love to find out more. When it comes to racing starting on Ovals, my info clearly shows that it did not, but it sure was a huge part really fast (in the U.S) I apologize again for not doing my research before i spoke. As for smaller ovals; bit of a weird one. Do they exist in real life? I mean, I thought the whole appeal of NASCAR and the like was the fact they atleast got some hefty speed and thus crashes were good.
If it was just a small oval, the worst you're going to see is two guys on the inside flat swapping insurance details. Sounds kind of lame to me

You are absolutely right m8. Mechanics didnt know at one point, i can tell you how they learned! ANY search engine will give you a website or close to on how to setup a car, Google Search *rebound* or suspension or how to guides.. people.. you name it..
Im pretty sure that there is enough lfs players to help you learn... if you want to come search me up sometime.. ill be more than happy to help you learn or if you have ANY question about suspension and what they do in comparison to other parts of the car. just ask m8 im always around Good luck with suspension help

why a lesser extent? i wasnt talking about just for oval... what about fe club? or So2 or so2r.... those tracks favor a certain direction of a corner... so you could set the car to be much faster in the lefts.. and alitle slower for the right hand corner, may not seem like much... but when tenths are what part you and the leader... you would want the little extent

Lfs is an awesome sim which since i have played, has done nothing but shot for realizm, in setup and gameplay. I "personally" think that lfs would be much more realistic if the simple option of left to right suspension adj could be available. Maybe that wont do much for some tracks, but i still think the option should be there, just an opinion. Lfs Devs have done a mighty fine job if i say so.
which might be the reason i have sat in front of this screen for six months playing it.

I was thinking the other day... how nice it would be to have a 1/4 or 1/2 mile oval.. to make the lower horsepower cars used more on an oval track.. and if that has already been suggested... then i would like to ask if maybe there is a way to have a left to right suspension adjust.. damp, rebound, and stiffness.. if your wondering why or where that would give an advantage.... on the smaller tracks that favor right turns more than left... or opposite.. it would be faster to get through 5 left hand corners and sacrafice 1 right hander you know? just a suggestion and im sure you have had this one many of times,, keep up the brilliant work guys... cant wait for S3

alright seriously i race Oval,, this is retarded, yes you should hold your line but the the dumb rule that you cant pass on the right should be thrown out the window... (thats the point of holding a line so the faster car can find a way around), and also for the point of the KeVb0 dude i hate to say it but in a sprint car if you not fast and your a squid you will get shoved out of the way.... cause in "Real Life" the cars are to damn expensive for people to just come out and tear shit up so before they do the fast guys put them out....(no offense to anyone i hope) :-)

not sure who this may concern...
im known as EAGLE Iceman on lfs and our team races alot of the oval..... the only thing i have to mention is that on an oval you should be able to change Stagger (inside tire being smaller than the outer) and also you should be able to change tire compound from left to right and not front to back :-)
maybe it could be in the next patch! ;-)
