Heikki, after not racing for a year, jumping into a totally new car and in really short notice gets 8th position on qualifying is pretty good result, tbh I don't think Kimi would have done much better than him in Q. In the race he was driving with no KERS, bad pit stop and problem in front wing, so surely he would've brought some points, but the start he messed up himself. Though, I still have to agree that since Lotus is quite far away from Ferrari and Mercedes on points, it would have been a nice gift for Valsecchi to give him the seat. Anyway, if something happens, surely Heikki is more capable of getting points than Valsecchi.
Well, we led you guys by 20 seconds, and for sure you would have not caught me, because at the end I was as fast as you with car bottoming and flooring out in some corners. And Sami would have driven at least 15 minutes after your driver came into pits, with thin tyres, so I dont think you would have been able to catch us at all.
Anyway, grats.
To be honest, after Kimi made a comeback to F1 and joined Lotus, I never expected him to rejoin Ferrari, especially when there's Alonso etc. But I'm happy that Kimi decided to leave from Lotus, can't see any better coming for them because of their financial problems etc. It should be a really interesting season next year and I'm already looking forward how Kimi will challenge win Alonso.
At least Hulkenberg is finally getting a seat what he deserves.
Am I the only one who favors KY2R over KY3B? In my opinion KY2R is the best track of LFS, and well IMO KY3B is quite overused and boring at the moment because its been driven already twice in 6 months time (GT1WS, NEC) and well, KY2R is rarely used.
Hard to pick one, but gotta say that I remember me rolling at pitlane during the race in Round 2, Blackwood of Cornys' World TBO Championship Series
I also remember me doing a greatest jumpstart ever in LFS, during the Round 4 of LFSCART 2013
