Also... I have 400mhz DDR ram, but my computer says its 333mhz. I know for a fact my motherboard supports it. Anyway I can change that?

I just kinda get frustrated at my computer sometimes. I think it should be doing better I get MAX 60-70 fps by myself, average 30ish, lowest about 10-15. This is with MAX graphics settings and a few high resolution addons. Here are my Computer Specs attached in a file. Please tell me whats wrong or what I may need to upgrade.

I find it hard enough trying to see the bitty speedometer and keep 80kmh. I don't want to have to figure out the limit for each server. Besides, that would require new speed limit signs.

Perhaps the FF is exaggerated. It would make sense as FF provides the only way to "feel" the car. I've never actually raced or done anything crazy in a car in real life, but I'm pretty sure you can tell the car is getting lose via other means than just the wheel. Fitting all this feeling into just the wheel must be the cause of exaggeration. Sorry if this doesnt make sense, as I am kinda not thinking clearly

This sounds like a problem I had a few weeks ago after reformatting my PC. I have an Athon 64 3200+. Its seems that I didn't have my CPU drivers properly installed. After reinstalling those, the problems went away. I hope I've helped.

I'm all for upgrading to DX9 it sounds awesome. Another thing to throw out there, slightly off topic,support for Physics cards. Fully deformable parts, frames etc. It would be nice even though I'm just dreaming. Perhaps this will come after a more complex collision and damage system.

I've searched for this and found nothing on the subject, so here goes. It kinda annoys me that there is zero traction on ramps. I would just like to see this be fixed so i can continue braking and turning whilst on ramps. Just my 2 cents.

I think I've had the issue you are describing. This happens to me when the wheel doesn't fully "auto-calibrate" at startup. You know when the wheel spins by itself. All I have to do is unplug and replug the wheel's usb plug and it calibrates again, usually clearing all issues. Hope this helps.

This is a 15 min job using the clips you provided and a few others. Tweak it as you want it but I think I got the exhaust note correct.

Here it is. My cruising soundset. Made for all cars except open wheelers. I tried to keep the classes of cars equal in volume Ex: FXO is about as loud as the XRT and RB4. I also tried to diversify the engine sounds a bit. But seeing as they're mostly 4 cylinder engines, LFS wants to keep them the same. These sounds are made to go together. Sound Clipping has been minimized so a group of cars won't sound like a big mess. Let me know what you think, But please keep in mind that these are to my taste and through my old speakers. Edit - Had to make it two files due to size. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Does anybody have a High Res version of the new "bubbly" LFS desktop icons? I want to use it as a sort of 'emblem' for my car and the current icon is too low res. I've searched everywhere and cant find it. Thanks in advance

I don't know if it will be compatible with LFS. You will need a PS2 to USB adapter, or something of the sort. But I warn you, I would read some customer reviews on this thing. I've bought a few Mad Catz products and they were all made very cheaply and didn't last very long.

But that aside, I would love to see some 4 door V8's. Anything with a v8, as this game is lacking those. . Also Some trucks would be wonderful, being so light in the rear, it would make them tricky to drive and I bet drifters would get a kick out of them as well.

P.S. This will overwrite yours, so back up your original file. Also if you have any custom interior, i think it overwrites that too. But feel free to use my grille thing in any projects, just give me credit

Hi, I don't know if this is the right place, but it is the skin forum, so here it goes. If I were to pay for the Hi Res skins, would LFS copy the high res versions over top the low res? Or do I have to delete all the low res versions? Sorry if this has already been posted, I didn't find it. Thanks in advance.

No you can't edit either as far as I know. But I don't know much.

And if you did modify those files, you probably wouldn't be able to play online, as your files wont match everyone else's.
