I just kinda get frustrated at my computer sometimes. I think it should be doing better I get MAX 60-70 fps by myself, average 30ish, lowest about 10-15. This is with MAX graphics settings and a few high resolution addons. Here are my Computer Specs attached in a file. Please tell me whats wrong or what I may need to upgrade.

You only have an Athlon 64 3200+? That could be the weak point of your computer. Is it socket 939, or AM2?

its a 939... Motherboard is an A8N-VM if you wanna see it

Also... I have 400mhz DDR ram, but my computer says its 333mhz. I know for a fact my motherboard supports it. Anyway I can change that?

Your memeory should be running at 400mhz , AMD64-3200 is 11x200
You need to to set ram to run at SPD and with a 1:1 ratio or select the correct speed. I would first advise that you make a note of CMOS reset location and your current bios settings before altering BIOS, unless you are comfortable with this.

*edit but make sure your ram is DDR400*

That's definitely not his problem.

I have the same processor (socket 939), a 6800Gs and 1 gig of 400mz ram. I run at up to 200FPS offline and over 100 online, except on the grid, where it still never drops below 40.

All graphics full, 4*s AA 16*AF 1280*1024.



To the OP, do you have v-sync on? If so try turning that off for a start...
