New York state, of course. I just have no desire to center the plate and have to do more then loosen a few screws to remove it. The tow hook mount really doesn't bother me, it has a couple other mounting options too, i just chose that one because i thought it was the least ugly.

I'm sure i could use something like velcro, i just prefer the simplicity of the tow hook mount. I may look into in the future, eventually when i drive less, i'm just going to run plateless. i drove plateless for a few weeks while i waited for the mount to come and i had no issues.

I used to run the plate centered Since the holes were already drilled for it. I got a new bumper due to unrelated circumstances and didn't want to put a drill to a very expensive front bumper, so i opted for the side mount. I do agree centered would look less awkward, i've just grown fond of the offset look now. Here's a couple pictures with my centered plate+summer wheels

That is a normal plate, I'm in the USA. I have no desire to drill holes to put a bright orange fugly license plate in the center of it, It looks even worse than it does now. i'd run plateless but i drive too much to risk it. The tow hook mount at least lets me remove it for car meets.

I have the Falcon, jetta, B class car, the D class oval car(not the modified cant remember the name) and i think something else.

Its not like im trying to get a killing for selling it. I just want to get some of the money i spent on it back.

Honestly, the only reason i think i enjoy iracing so much(besides the level of maturity there) is because it gives me something to race towards.

When i was a rookie in road, all i did were races every hour, just trying to get to D as fast as i could to be able to try a new car.

Strange, I did the same thing on LFS with the cruise servers. I obsessed over getting the next license so i could drive a new car

You do know when you run the uninstaller(for z28 atleast) there is an option on one of the earlier pages that says something along the lines of "delete LFS related folders and files". So uncheck that and you should be fine.

Then again if you were uninstalling LFS i dont understand why you care about its files..

From what i understood from a moderator here is that the rules are quite vague. It seemed that you are allowed to have VOB mods, you can show pictures of said mod, but you cannot SHARE the mod. As long as it is simply only you having it, your not spreading it, then it is okay.

That's just how i saw it when an argument appeared on here about Vob mods one time.

One thing i cannot stand about Rfactor is the lack of FFB. There is absolutely none no matter what setting's i have ever tried.

I cant really judge the physics from the lack of FFB, but without it they seem REALLY cartoony and fake.

I understand what you mean and I'll try to clarify for everyone else.

What he means is, when using a clutch shifter and pedal, there is a time delay between gears(ex: going from 3rd to 4th, its more like 3rd, clutch, small delay, 4th).

Then with auto clutch on, the shifting is much faster and smoother then it is while using a clutch pedal.

Basically all he wants is for auto clutch to go 3rd, nuetral, 4th. to make even timing with people who use a clutch pedal.

Personally i would enjoy this alot, I LOVE using the FZR with my H shifter and clutch pedal, Its just that much more challenging!

Can you change the button used to a seperate button other then scroll lock? My keyboard is strange and pause break and scroll lock are one and the same button. Could you change it to a a number key or the space bar or something? Thanks!

I just checked on my LFS and yes there is a bit of a dead spot at the bottom range of the clutch. Just a game feature since that hasnt happened to me in any other racing game.

just go for standard LFS patch Z. not z28 or anything, just .05z


The tweak for it on on lfs-database, and it lets you modify everything you are looking to do.

Also after doing what MAGGOT said, go to the ingame options, then the wheel settings, go to axis and lock the axis. This leaves your settings the way they are and wont change them.

It used to happen to me on my g25, i would have to turn all the way left, then all the way right and it would be normal again. Then i locked the axes and its always fine now.
