Im a bit of a virgin in LFS forums, although i been lurking here since 2007, but better start late then never!

Im trying to learn how to work with v-Ray, and this is the best i got so far.

I modeled the rims+tyres and a few body parts in 3dsmax.

Where is the LFS award for this gentleman??????

Dom, did you do a fresh install of LFS, or did you just backup up the game and did the copy/paste ?

Also, did you let win 7 do the updates? SP1, netframeworks, drivers, etc?

As some have already sugested, i would try to format and start over. It doesnt really take that much time....in overall about 2 hours maybe? ( counting with drivers/programs instalation ). You are probably wasting time trying to fix what it SEEMS to be unfixable in that OS.

I dont know what do you use your PC besides LFS, but i can assure you that some files/drivers unrelated to either LFS or your wheel can cause that kind of problems, and if you cant spot them to delete them, format is your best chance.

Just go ahead man, get some food, turn the TV on, and get it going. If after that it still doesnt work, then you can defenitly rule out OS problems and start searching for hardware problems.

Anyways, these are my 2 cents, just trying to help.

Hi fellas , here's my 3rd entry. Its not yet finished, but i already spent alot of time in it...and before i keep going, i would just like to know if its worth it going into so much detail?? I meen, if it is, il just keep going adding more and more details until this is something like a tribal of an engine....a full costumized and a bit of a "unique" helmet.

Im sorry to be posting a WIP, but this one is really taking alot of my time, and from where i see it, it still has much more details to add and stuff to correct.

Just an update on my RB4 litle project.

Been trying to pay attention to details on this one, already made some more custom parts. Also been messing around with V-ray lights and scenes. And thx to Leo, i have new, proper, windows without buble effect .
Now i need to figure out how to make my renders sharper, without so much foggy shadows . Been having some trouble with that.

Anyways, i leave here 2 small test renders .

If you can take some constructive critics, i would just like to point out the thickness of the tires ( a bit too thick for a GTR, imo ). Seems the front wheels are touching the body because of it also. But thats all i can point out!! Other then that, i think this is showing the best potencial off all the RB models presented here!! Reminds me of the real GT class Supra .
