Back in 2006 i loved looking at how the tyres moved arround, it was, and still is very impresive!
The awesome physics is also the first thing that comes to my mind when i hear or read something about LFS. If only they made it as big as Polyphony Digital, but then with a better product. Obviously.
I'm quite sure that the community would happily take it over IF that ever happens, the good part of the community then.
I'm not really interested in a cruise simulator.
It's that people who last played in 200x, are coming to the forums just to call the game dead.
It's not that they don't have rights to complain, who does anyway, but that it just feels a but unnecessary.
It's like going to a car dealer and calling their brand dead, just because you haven't seen any of their cars for while. No?
I've been around since the start, 2005? Browsing around on the forums and sometimes playing around on the demo servers with my old demo acc.
Even though progress is slowing down since then, the game is far from being dead, as we are still around to this day discussing whether the game is dead or not.
And if it was i'm quite sure one of Scavier solutions would notify us.
Tried everything you guys said, using the Xbox 360 layout in motioninjoy now and calibrated them,
it feels much smoother and it kinda works untill i press L2.
Is there maybe a way to seperate L2 and R2 in two seperate triggers? I tried mapping them in Y+ Y- and X- X+ but without success.
Installed it and it works! Thank you all very much!
Only problem i'm having now is that the throttle is stuck at 50% as RT and LT are one trigger according to LFS.
Shouldn't be hard figuring out what's wrong though.
Then why would Valve consider distributing LFS if the licenses are sold by the LFS devs? You would download the demo from Steam, just to buy a license from lfs.net?
Unless Steam and LFS accounts would merge this wouldn't work, or make Valve any profit whatsoever.
I remember getting a disc on my birthday way back in 2004/5 which contained 20 racing games, they were all demo's though. But LFS was the one i enjoyed the most! And still stuck around ever since.
But i still haven't gotten to the point of buying a S2 license, since a S3 license was lurking arround, way back in 2008. That, and the FBM still keeps me busy!
Never really spended much time on racing though, i always messed around with the car's settings. I even remember you could change the wheel track on the XFG and XRG.
Decrease the wheel's track, higher the suspension, soften the springs, and look at the AI's roll!
Was browsing trough the older screenshots and found this :
Is this the beta MRT5 or something? I have never seen it on Youtube nor in the car selection screen. Is this car in LFS? If so instant buy for me Also sorry if it has been asked before.
