Driving Help

Maybe the pros of you can help, there is something wrong with my driving. My favourite car is the LX6 (mostly I like it at SO). At SO classic I can't manage to break 53:00 . I'm using the "Easy Going" setup, which I found here in the forum.

I attach a replay of some SO classic laps. I think the best lap is the fourth, right after the spin

Maybe there is someone who can give me a hint, what I can do to get a little bit better.

Thank you very much for your time!

Another idea

Quote from Yisc[NL] : I like LFS as much as anyone else on the tracks and in this forum and that's why I want to place an idea here. Make a sticky post that contains a list with everything that is on the todo-list of the devs. In that way, people can clearly see what's to come, so they don't have to ask for it.

Good idea. This will only work, if this post/thread will be updated every week. Maybe this is possible? If the devs make this as a ritual once a week, this should cut some time in the forum.

My suggestion: What about an additional forum section for beta patches with strikter rules. There have to be a sticky post that only serious feedback is allowed. And of course people have to read the feedback of all posters and the patch instructions and limitations.
16 bit mathematic

You set your color depth to 16 bit, which is the cause for the slight green touch.

Color is build of three components red, green, blue. So if you calc 16 / 3 you get 5 bit, 5 bit and one times 6 bit. The 6 bit is assigned to green, because this is the most sensible color for the human eyes.

Guess a 50% grey for smoke
Red 5 bit --> 32 possible color levels, 50% --> 15
Green 6 bit --> 64 possible color levels, 50% --> 32 (graphic card will div this by 2) --> 16
Blue 5 bit --> 32 possible color levels, 50% --> 15

Notice green is slighly higher then the other colors. So with 16 bit the color can't be an exact grey like smoke should be.

To prevent the 32 bit / 3 question :-) :
Red 8bit
Green 8bit
Blue 8bit
Alpha Channel 8bit

Same wheel, same problems here, but here is the ultimate solution:

1. Start your PC, maybe login if necessary
2. Go into System Panel (Systemsteuerung) to Game Controller --> you see the wheel, press OK
3. Run LFS get into Single Player and :eclipsee_

... May the force be with you. :jedi:

It seems you need to init the driver in an uncommon way, but who knows.
