trail braking is all about getting thwe wieght over the front wheels to give you more grip on the front wheels, nothing to do with setup, if ure overtseering when trail braking your doing it wrong, if your set up cant handle it your setup is naff, because trail braking is always faster as you can get into the corner faster and acdelerate out quicker.
yer its fun, but i think its nice to be able to have a selection of cars from real life and fanstasy to drive. dont you think? im not questioning qwhat racing is about, just whjat i love to race with.
dont get me wrong i love lfs, but i dunno lol
oh yer, the problem with the delays steerring is, u have to change the settings of the wheel in game. once done its great.
i love lfs, but i prefer rfactor simply because it feels more real, the graphics are immense and you can play with so many mods which just jkeep coming and rolling in, which are real. also playing on the worlds greatest circuits.
i think lfs nees to break away from being all fantasy stuff. apart from the BF1 which is a step in the right direction.
but i love both, but i play rfactor more as i personally prefer.
well, some dont get banned, i play alot of games online although i now only play 2, ive experianced a lot more noobs on lfs than any other. i dont know why this may just be how luck has it
every time i connect to a server there is someone who is prepared to ruin a race either because they are a wrecker or because they get fustrated for what ever reason.
i would like false starts dont get me wrong, i just dont want to have to out up with another issue
OK. basically im all for the relalism etc. but people who like to disrupt and mis bahave will chance on this to ruin it for others even more.
not really. obviously there has to be a race track to race on nothing can be don about this, but if we can prevent other areas for people to misbehave and disrupt game sthen we should, the start system works fine now. i would like it to be more realstic, but there are too many "noobs" on lfs for this to work imo.
as for the poeple moaning about rolling down hills, this is a factor in real motorsport, the solution is to hold the brake until the lights go green
false starts will give the noobs another place to wreck, it happens and it will happen, the only way around it imo opinion is to spectate them if they false start, but then this is going to be very annoying for the people who happened to make a mistake, and its not realistic which is going back to the first point
we will just go round and round in circlers with this debate, we wont be able to make lfs releastic in starts unless we can get rid of all the noobs.
have you got a decent set up as well? setup is everything on lfs.
i was always told by people its the driver, dont listen to them, thee are limits in how fast you can go with certain setups. i was struggling a lot round blackwood until someone at last gave me a decent set, automatically went a second quicker than my PB in 3 laps.
can somebody tell me what vsyc is and how i turn it off, ive been advised to do this for rfactor but dont know how. would also like to do it here if it helps
i can set up a car to a certain point, but im not able to master it. i always looka t other pople setups to determine mine or i just use thiers. this way i can be wuick.
i tend to find after a few runs i can easily adapt to a set up, whether its fast or not, i find i can get the most out of it to my limits, whilst learning other characteristics like the track and the car itself.
i would welconme this idea with open arms simply because of the people who spend hours or the teasm that have the fastest sets, that dont share. this makes it almost impossible for us drivers who dont have as good understanding of how to set a car up, to be quick.
the default thing imo, after a few runs or however long you take, everyone wil et used to the set eventually.
i am looking into this, however i thought i would just add to whatis happening to see what people come up with, being that im onmly 16 i have to get dad to find out and hes not very heful with this
more info on this problem for me. the lag meter for me goes up and up until it disconnects me. so is this a lag issue when the server is busy or full? it only seems to happen when servers are full. any help?
how long have you been with tiscali. ive been using tiscali all year, playing online with no problems until we get a wireless router. it has to be the wireless. for me anyway
