And I downloaded an old S1 version to play with the XRT and it only had 1 exhaust. But of course, I could be wrong. Maybe the S1 version was too new.
A McLaren F1???? Why!!!! That would be such a fun car to drive! Maybe S3? or a Patch X surprise? no? Well, now you got my hopes up!

Wow, yes. That worked. thank you very much. I was getting an average of about 100FPS with it off. But now that I know that Anti-Aliasing can be turned on, I think I'll go back to that. I may only get 55FPS, but it looks much nicer!

After setting my AA to 4X and AF to 8X I was still getting about 90FPS. So I think that is the best place for it.

I just made sure everything was turned up. AA 8X AF16X

It did make a difference. I was so used to not having any anti-aliasing turned on that now it's like everything is blurry! But it's good. Though, now i only get about 50FPS!

Is there an option to set AA on? Because I have looked and didn't see anything!
Also, I don't have a Max FPS set, but yet it always stays at 60FPS and won't go above. Why not?

Here's Question #1)
Well, this picks up after the XRT was sent home crying after the XRT beat the BMW in a sprint. but the XFG came up and chased the XRT, caught him, then started calling him names because the XFG is a bully.
Well, the XRT was furious about this bully but didn't know what to do. So he went to talk to his little brother XRG, and tell him to stay away from the XFG. But when he went to his PIT, he wasn't there! XRT didn't know what to do, so he raced out of the PIT to go look for him. Well, that was a mistake! He went so fast that he received, a stop-go penalty, AND a Drive-Through penalty! The XRT was even more furious right now, and he was fast! He was 3 times as fast and furious as he was before that he suddenly wanted to go drifting in an above ground car park! But everyone there had XR GTR's, so the XRT didn't stand a chance! After leaving, and rounding a corner near the town of blackwood, he saw his little brother just sitting there, amongst the barriers, but XRG was sobbing. "What happened?" XRT asked? XFG chased me, and when he caught me, he called me names for not being as fast as him or you. Names like, TurNo!, and rear wheel nothin'! So the XRG and XRT joining forces, and speed down the straight away after the XFG. By careful drafting and perfect redline shifting, they caught the XFG and gave him a flat tire, and a leaky fuel tank! The End. And the moral of the story is that no matter how fast, how good, or how tough you are, the XFG sucks and it is nearly impossible to get 1:41 around blackwood reverse, on keyboard, with the XFG on rallyX tyres with one eye closed!

Among all of the other reasons, such as "No money," "Better community," "Better Driving,"...ect, there is one reason why I would like S2.
With the demo, you can only do so much, go so far, and play so long before there's nothing left. It's almost like there is no room to improve your overall driving skills because all you have to work with is one track, and 3 cars. But I can see that after a while, even S2 would start to seem the same. That maybe trying to improve just isn't enough of a rush anymore. So what's left? waiting for new patches and S3? Yes, but there is more to be done right now. Like Autocross layouts! Can't use them in the demo, and I would love to be able to create and share them with other people, but can't! Maybe new textures, skins, and in time, even new cars could be made. I can only create skins for 3 cars right now, which can keep me going for a while, but it's hard to when you know there is more out there. But with the demo, it just seems like a dead end. That is why I would like S2. You can improve your driving and interpreting skills, and when/if you feel there is no more to be done, you can create it! Endless possibilities!

Wow, you must have put a very large amount of effort into the questions, AND the driving. It clearly shows that you would make a perfect S2 driver, by putting the effort into this shows that you do not take Live For Speed as some sort "Crash and Bash." Congratulations, and good luck to you AchimPL! It sounds like you really deserve it!

Haha Yes, very true. I sure can't afford both right now, I know that! But it's something I'll work towards. Maybe a DFP wheel would be a good start?

:arge: What am I doing wrong? I just did about 30 laps in the hotlapping Blackwood Reversed, never went off of the track, never hit an object, and I never even "spun out" once, though I normally don't. The problem is that though I feel like I am racing about the best that I can, I'm only getting about 1:32 average. And I can only get about 1:28 average on the Blackwood normal track. I use the mouse for steering and the "W" key for gas, "S" key for brake. So a split mouse/keyboard combo. I'm wondering if a wheel would help?
Because I don't know how else to improve my times. From the first hot lap to the last, they were all about the same times without improvement!
Ahh, it's frustrating! Guess no S2 license for me! Though, I did beat the "Overtaking" lesson with great ease!

Sorry, should have been more clear. I CAN answer the questions. I haven't. But I may start trying to find some answers. But it's hard enough just to get away from LFS. but I'm sure I'll find time! But it's late here now, and I have school in the morning. BTW, great idea for a contest. Really makes you want to work for it. And you'll learn some history about the game!

I would love to have/win/earn the S2 license. And I can answer all of the questions. BUT, I cannot however, beat that time. I figure that if you are good enough to get that time 3 laps in a row, then you have put some real time into the demo. And if you put that much time into the demo, you would have already boughten the S2 license which leaves you ineligible for this contest! Or, you are just a natural, which I am not.

I use a mouse which seems to work fine. I just use the mouse for side-to-side steering though. And the Keyboard for accel. and deccel. I just set my mouse to 2000dpi and it works fine, but it did take time to get used to. And I am in the exact same position as you are. I would like S2, and a wheel. But money always seems to be the obstacle!
