push him down the last straight is a part of the lfs-community
i really like...
not that its worth it, but sometimes a driver just want to
finish, after he did a great race, nevermind the result.
so if noone else is handicapped because of this, i see no reason
not to do it.

the races aren´t too long, you can wait! but i must say this
has not happend on the race2/3 servers any time i was on.

i´ve seen this too a few times and it really sucks...
a workaround i figured out is: join the race 1st and then go to
the pits (means you have to wait till you can join the race).
the more people have joined the race, the more are needed to
start it.
e.g. one "fast joiner" isn´t enough. when at least 2 or 3 people
have joined the race and do not press OK, the race won´t start.

on one of my last races i was kicked for swearing and got a notice to clean...
what i did was: my teammate wanted my set and asked me if its good.

about the wind again:
i drove some GT2 races on kyoto national with strong winds...
my times varied from 1.47 to 1.51, 4 SECONDS! i drove almost every
race the fastest lap...
the track-record was set with "no wind" and because the points
are depeding on the times this need a look and rework in my eyes.
wind is ok, wind is fun, but strong winds with slow cars can mess it
all up...

i don´t think a randomly change from GTR to TBO is good idea...
