Absolute Beginners is pleased to announce we have secured a Canadian company (TM Pacifitech) to sponsor some prize money for our upcoming Season 15 which is scheduled to begin on Sunday, July 11, 2021. The season will consist of 10 rounds of racing finishing just before Christmas of 2021. Our schedule of combos is currently posted.

Top 4 in points at the end of the season receive the following monetary compensation:

1st - $200
2nd - $125
3rd - $100
4th - $75

Total payout is $500 CAD.

At the end of the season the top 4 will be offered to race in NDR GT2 or TBO series (1st and 2nd to GT2 and 3rd and 4th to TBO) and be sponsored by TM Pacifitech (with appropriate livery).

For each NDR event completed, drivers will be awarded $25, plus the available bonuses if achieved (below).

Bonus system payout:

1st - $15
2nd - $12
3rd - $10
4th - $8
5th - $6
6th - $5
7th - $4
8th - $3
9th - $2
10th - $1

Pole Position - $20

Restrictions:

If any of the top 4 decline to participate in NDR, we will make the offer to 5th and lower and give them the opportunity to drive a sponsored car in NDR and the AB payout

Drivers who decline to race in NDR will not receive payout.

Drivers who accept offer (collect funds) but fail to participate in the NDR series will not be allowed to participate in AB series for one season.

Finally, here is the schedule for the new S3L season based on the votes of the top 10 drivers of last season:



As always every event starts with a 20 minutes qualification session (shift+s and shift+p allowed) at 19:30 CEST or CET. The race starts at 20:00 CEST or CET and features 1 mandatory pitstop. The pitstop has to be completed within a window which is announced between the end of qualy and the start of the race. The window can be seen at all times on the Lapper pitboard.

The side series will be another version of restricted racing. This season will contain the same car/track combo's as the S3L schedule:



Qualification will be the same as in the S3L series. Every event will contain 2 races where the grid for race 2 will be the reversed result of race 1.

In the first event every driver will start with 10% restriction. After that the restriction will be based on the actual position in the championship (restriction = 11% - championship ranking). For example, for event 2 the leader will keep 10% restriction (11% - 1 = 10%). The 4th placed driver will have 7% restriction for event 2 (11% - 4 = 7%).

Also in the Restricted Racing series a pitstop has to be completed within a pitwindow.

Here are the 10 car/track combinations for the upcoming season:



9 Drivers filed their prefered combo's. 3 Out of 9 had the UFR car as first choice. We decided to replace 1 of those with the 2nd choice of that particular driver.

The above order is set, the dates still have to be finalized.

The details for the side series will also be finalized soon.
