The track was designed by the same guy (a German of course) who designed Sepang, Shanghai, Yas Marina, Istanbul, Bahrain among others. Don't tell me this is an American style track - it is nothing close to any other American road racing track. Maybe European was not the right word, what I was angling towards it is more similar to overseas race tracks.

Cota is too american? Lol our road courses all feel natural as if they ride the hills etc (barber, limerock, laguna seca, sonoma, vir etc), cota is a f1 track and was designed as one. If anything it is european.

Sunday May 25th – Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps - Endurance
June 1st – Autodromo Jose Carlos Pace – Grand Prix
June 8th – Mount Panorama Circuit
June 15th – Silverstone Circuit – Grand Prix
June 22nd – Suzuka – Grand Prix
20 minute qualifying session will start at 18:00 UTC and the 90 minute race immediately after. The rest of the time will be allocated as practice in the 2 hour session. The session itself will launch at 17:50 UTC.
Races will start with a rolling start, all races use iRacing default weather.

Points
Points:
60th position is worth 1 point, and every position higher is worth one point more.
1 Point awarded to every car that completes a single lap.
3 Points awarded for pole position.
3 Points awarded for gaining most position in a race.
1 Points awarded for fastest lap.
1 Point awarded for leading most laps.
Top five bonus points:
First gets 10 bonus points
Second gets 7 bonus points
Third gets 5 bonus points
Fourth gets 4 bonus points
Fifth gets 3 bonus points.

If anyone is interested in a league test race... It will be at Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve on Saturday the 19th. Session will launch at 11:59 EST Usa time (15:59 UTC). The race will use standard weather with the Mclaren GT3 and RUF Track cars. We will do a 1 hour practice session followed by a 15 minute open group qualifier and the 45 minute race. The session will show up under the hosted page and will be open to everyone as a recruitment race.

We were almost in the same spot. Luckily Jordan and Vytas were way quicker than ever expected. Was a blast racing with you guys

There was a topic in Rookie forums, with people blaming the MX5 and the conclusion was that it pretty much handles right in most cases. The only difference would be the lack of "ass" feel and the small POV being unreflective of slides and people feeling slides having smaller angles than the actual angles. I never had problem with the MX5 or any other cars. The Formula Mazda sure needs an updated tire model to sort out some of the weird slides, but it's not what I'd call undrivable. Not being able to handle a car around the track, while thousands of people are completely fine with it, then blaming the simulator after giving up is not into my mindset.

yea, tbh its the only reason I don't bother getting my road SR up...
